Looking to get away from enriched flour? This is what you need. You grind your own wheat, corn, oats or rice with this Mill. it takes a couple of passes to get the wheat berries into fine flour, the first time you grind it at a six six and then the second time you can grind it at a one or a two on the settings dial, there are nine different settings. The instructions say not to mix more than 10 cups at a time, and at a mixer speed of four to six because they do not want you to overload your mixer motor. you really don't want to do too much more flour than that anyway, it only lasts for a few weeks because it is a natural (unaltered) product.

I have used my grain mill four times now and it works quite well and easily affixes to my KitchenAid mixer. Before this purchase, I had never milled my own flour and decided to take a chance on it. This mills a beautiful, quality grade flour. I would highly recommend this item.

Great item and it's heavy duty. Came with all the pieces and it's pretty self-explanatory, but there are some extractions on the box. I'm very happy with the item and can't wait to get wheatberries and it fit perfectly on my KitchenAid mixer. And their appearance is beautiful.

unit works good for what it is intended for. The only thing bad about the unit is that it discharges the flour away from the mixer. it would be nice if it would distract the flour to the mixing bowl under the mixer. this change would make the overall size of mixer grain mill about 6"or so. smaller.

while it suits its purpose it is made of pot metal which can't really be classified as metal so the description isnt accurate and if it were to drop onto a semi hard surface it would crack and be useless.

The grinder is beautiful and works as promised. First test run was grinding coffee. I will be getting my first shipment of wheatberries in a couple of days and I hear that making your own flower is a total life changer. However, I have to deduct one star because the chute arrived with a significant scratch. A lovely piece of equipmentt this nice is too expensive to arrive tarnished. Even though it's not a big deal I'm a little disappointed because the KitchenAid and attachments on their own are a beautiful piece of kitchen decor.

This item is okay. It's not what I was looking for but it does a good job for what it is. Can't grind an oily bean or seed without constantly clogging everything. drier items do well in this mill.

This jams up and will not grind every couple of seconds. It's junk, you get what you pay for.
