I purchased this for my grandson and he just loves it. It has held up for two wash cycles now (as I just gave it to him a couple of weeks ago now) and the stuffing and color are the same as day one. of course it hasn't been a whole lot of time that has passed since using this blanket, but I have high hopes. I think it will last just as long as the other character themed blankets within the same quality standards.
This is for my grandson's 3rd birthday. I loved it when I received it and I know he will because he loves Thomas the Train and he just transitioned to a toddler bed.
Material could be a little heavier for kids bedding but overall it's great
