Chunky enough to turn heads, comfy enough to accidentally walk 14,000 steps without noticing. Honestly, the 740s feel less like sneakers and more like emotional support footwear. New Balance really said, “What if orthopedic comfort… but make it hot?”

Grabbed these shoes for work since I’m on my feet all day, and they’ve been a solid choice so far. Comfort was good straight away with no break-in needed, and they stay comfortable even after long shifts. My feet don’t feel nearly as sore or tired as they usually would. They’ve also held up really well with daily wear. I’ve been putting them through a lot at work and they still feel sturdy and supportive, with no issues so far. Overall, they’re comfortable, durable, and do exactly what I need them to do. Definitely happy with the purchase and would recommend them for anyone on their feet all day.

I love these shoes. They’re ridiculously comfortable. So comfortable that I actually forget I’m wearing them until I look down and think, “Wow, my feet look so fly right now.” Also, the sizing is spot-on, no complaints there. However, I do manage to regularly roll my ankle while wearing them. Every. Single. Day. Not in a dramatic “order me an x-ray” way. Just in a subtle whoopsie-roll that mildly inconveniences me and is enough to humiliate me in public. If you can work past the regular ankle rolling, these shoes are definitely for you. They have taught me two valuable lessons: always stay humble, and strengthen your stabilizer muscles.

I usually worry about buying shoes online but these fit on me so perfectly i was amazed. The colour is really good and I will always love the breathable material they use. I previously wore a different range but this gives me that perfect sporty look without being chunky either. highly recommend.

Soo good, comfy for the long days at work where I’m walking around and standing for long periods of time. They look really clean as well, very versatile pair.

Overall the shoe is extremely comfortable. My feet do not suffer for fatigue in these shoes. The back support of the shoe is slightly higher than my other new balance which took some re jigging to stop the rub. They also look great, the color combo is fantastic.

I've been purchasing NB for many years. For some reason, this last purchase the quality just doesn't feel the same. It feels thinner, not as durable. It could just be me; I'm just judging only on how they feel on my feet. Still probably a good value, but only time will tell.
