These socks have a great grippers. Some socks have grippers that are just the brand name and not functional, but these are prominent, sturdy, and work well on our wood floors. My toddler loves to take them off, but they go up on his leg far enough I get a head start before he can get them all the way off.They are not low cut nor ankle socks. These go up maybe mid calf, maybe a little below mid calf. But definitely higher than ankle socks. Antislip but still works and fits well with shoes.
