Toddleroo’s StepSafe Auto-Close Gate, Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a newborn toddler and two dogs, we needed the ability to easily walk through gates while keeping the toddler safe. This baby gate was easy to install, is very sturdy and blends in very nicely with the rest of the house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gate was easy to attach we had to modify a little due to not having a wood stairs to attach to or wall but gate is strong and great height for even my 3 year old . Apperance is nice and sleek . It's easy for an adult to open the door you slide the button and use strength to pull it open from the bottom magnetize part .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such an easy set up for the Toddleroo by North State gate. It came with an extension for a wider space and extra piece to latch it so it opens only in one direction. I didn't put it on, because my dog sleeps right by her bowls which is where we set up the gate on our hallway. That way we can open either direction. And now our baby is crawling so it's easier to maneuver which way we want, for now. After full set up, with the pieces screw on the wall it is very sturdy (which it was sturdy even without, just with the pressure mounting, but we wanted the extra security). This couldn't have come at a better time for us. Our baby even learned to stand up by holding on to it, so we're definitely thankful for the hardware set up. The auto close feature is very nice to have, that way if we're carrying the baby it'll close behind us. It's going to come in handy as she grows. Over all LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

We've got cats, dogs, and little ones that all require different access to certain parts of the house. The cats can still sneak through this, but it keeps everyone else safe.

The parts are sturdier then all the other gates I have installed and just as easy to put up. I do have to make sure the bottom lockes in, but overall works great. I like how the black color blends in with the decor in that doorway, my white one made the space look more closed off. Happy addition to our house.

It has a unique latch that allows it to be opened from either side without being flipped upon installation, while still having the sense of security that you would expect with this kind of gate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toddleroo gate has been very beneficial in my household. I keep it in my kitchen where it leads to the hallway. My toddler can be tricky, so this gate will keep him from sneaking into the kitchen area

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up just took me a bit to get the right tension for the lock to line up. Love that if open all the way it will stay open as we don't always need it closed but also that it automatically swings shut when you need it to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby gate is the perfect gate for toddler-proofing your house. It is a shorter baby gate, coming to our 2 year olds shoulders, so it's the perfect gate for toddlers or small dogs. The latching mechanism is very secure, to the point it can be difficult to open and close sometimes but it definitely does the job for keeping little ones where they are supposed to be! Overall it's very sturdy and the perfect little baby gate if you are looking for a smaller option. The only negative, is you do have to bend down to open this. For this reason I might prefer something taller that would also keep our larger dogs contained!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a sturdy gate but a little hard to use. I found that it can be difficult to open. I had to wiggle it a bit to get it to unlock. I didn't find it to be the best design for ease of use (would be difficult to open if holding a baby). It does look nice in the house though. And it's possible that it just has a learning curve to use.
