This records everything, from front to back. It also gives excellent descriptions. The clarity is so clear and and very easy to adjust. I strongly recommend this item should be a wonderful Xmas present to all drivers.
Absolutely five stars for this dashcam. I have them in every vehicle I own and they perform flawlessly. The video files are easily accessed via smart phone, computer or laptop. The video files function perfectly on both Linux and Windows operating systems that I use. I use the OEM SD cards as well as Sandisk, Kootion, SuperPro and generic cards; all function perfectly in these cameras. I'm going to attach pictures to this review, but please note they were pulled as a screenshot from the video so there is some quality loss from that and my windows are always dirty which also takes away some of the picture quality. Believe me, the video quality is much better than I provide with the pictures attached to this review.
The quality is great for the price. Setting up is easy for front and back cameras. If you're on a budget, this camera is for you. However, the quality of image significantly declines over long distance.
We attached it to our car for better video tracking and this cam absolutely does it job. Using it since a week, no problems noticed. At this price, when you are looking for dashcams, it is highly recommended.

Easy to install
There are no instructions on how to hookup the rear camera so I have had it a week now and still haven't hooked it up.
Didn't work for my vehicle
im pretty disappointed. this feels extremely cheap for the price. there is minimal to no customization allowed, such as changing the date and time in the camera. the picture quality is good, and so is the audio, but there is no way to confirm what options are available because it came with no instructions.
I never got it to work.
