I've been using a manual nasal pot, off and on, for about 15 years to combat seasonal allergies. I got this rechargeable nasal irrigator, a few days ago, and my hope is that the added power of having the saline solution pushed through my nasal passages, will help to remove significantly more allergens. I've used it twice so far and it hasn't disappointed me yet! I thought it would be a little intimidating to use, but it actually looks like a Waterpik, just with a different tip for the nose. It's powerful but not too powerful and it gives 3 different settings (Normal, Soft, and Pulse) so you will definitely find a setting that's most comfortable for you. It comes with THIRTY saline packets to get you started, so there's no need to DIY your own concoction. The directions advise for you to use filtered water, but I have never had a problem using tap water that has been thoroughly boiled and chilled prior to use, but the manufacture also talks about this in the instructional pamphlet so please read before use!
I personally find that this rechargeable nasal irrigator is straightforward to operate. I can feel the difference and I really like how it works. Trust me, I used the little squeeze bottle (you know the one) for years and I won't be going back. This is a must-have for anyone who suffers from allergy issues!
