Powerful making a sinus rinse quite quick

I've used it twice so far...

Nina November 25, 2021

I've been using a manual nasal pot, off and on, for about 15 years to combat seasonal allergies. I got this rechargeable nasal irrigator, a few days ago, and my hope is that the added power of having the saline solution pushed through my nasal passages, will help to remove significantly more allergens. I've used it twice so far and it hasn't disappointed me yet! I thought it would be a little intimidating to use, but it actually looks like a Waterpik, just with a different tip for the nose. It's powerful but not too powerful and it gives 3 different settings (Normal, Soft, and Pulse) so you will definitely find a setting that's most comfortable for you. It comes with THIRTY saline packets to get you started, so there's no need to DIY your own concoction. The directions advise for you to use filtered water, but I have never had a problem using tap water that has been thoroughly boiled and chilled prior to use, but the manufacture also talks about this in the instructional pamphlet so please read before use! I personally find that this rechargeable nasal irrigator is straightforward to operate. I can feel the difference and I really like how it works. Trust me, I used the little squeeze bottle (you know the one) for years and I won't be going back. This is a must-have for anyone who suffers from allergy issues!

Love it

Lissie December 1, 2021

As someone who suffers with little sinus issues from time to time I really enjoy having this Poseidon nasal irrigator. It's very gentle, simple, and easy to use. It comes with everything you need, including two rotating soft tip nasal nozzle heads and thirty sinus rinse packets. I love that this has a rechargeable battery, that doesn't take an excessive amount of time to charge. It's portable and it even holds a good size amount of water because it has a 300ml water tank. Also, always remember to use properly distilled or sterilized water. This is so much easier and simpler to use than the plastic squeeze bottle nasal irrigator I was using before. This nasal irrigator also comes with an instruction manual that's easy to follow, but I do wish it included directions on how to clean after use. However, the nozzle head, nasal tips, water tank, and the inner suction pump part that pulls the water from the tank are all removable. Washing and drying thoroughly is easy enough.

Powerful.

I have been using sinus rinses off and on for years. I am reviewing the Poseidon Nasal Irrigator. There are 3 different modes to choose from. Normal, soft and Pulse. I prefer Normal mode. I did try the soft and for some reason I had to stop because I was getting a terrible headache. I stopped and waited for awhile and used the Normal mode with no problems. I think when I used the soft mode, it was taking longer for the rinse to do what it's was suppose to do. There is a 300 ml reservoir to add “filtered water” then add one of the packets that's available in the package. A total of 30 packets are included. I measured my water and warmed it in microwave in a cup. Then I poured the water and packet into the reservoir. There are two soft tips for multiple users. Before I used it I charged the rechargeable battery until completely charged. I really like the portability of the Irrigator. The battery last several days. It looks good. I do recommend!

Life Saver

Nbadder November 28, 2021

This its seriously the best product I've used for my sinus and migraines. Its also the fastest at breaking down the mucus too. The design makes it very convenient to use with minimal mess. The relief I've had after using has been nearly life changing. If you suffer with sinuses and migraines you know how debilitating they can be and how long they can last. Try this product and i genuinely hope you have the same experience I've had! I Highly recommend investing in one.

First Timmer.

MandM November 24, 2021

Wow! what a weird feeling to use this product. I have never used a nasal irrigator before. The instructions were easy to follow. This product came fully charged, but I topped the battery off before I used it for the first time. It holds a charge for a long time. I used distilled water and added one packet of the saline salt that was included with this product. The best way to describe the sensation of using this irrigator is, it is the same feeling you would have if you jumped into a pool and had the chlorine water go up your nose. It has taken me several attempts to use this product efficiently. The first time I used it was a disaster until I figured out how to breathe and position my head the right way. One thing you have to remember when using this irrigator is to make sure you keep the tip in your nose at all times when turning the unit on and off, if not, you will have water spraying everywhere like I did. I like that the battery is built it. All you have to remember is to keep it charged. The time to flush both nostrils is just a few minutes. The small size of this unit makes it easy to travel with. After using this product. I can breathe very easily. I still have a slight burning in my nose, but I am sure the more and more I use it. The burning feeling will go away.

Nice Nasal Irrigator

Ema November 28, 2021

This nose cleaner works by using a gentle pulsating rinse for nasal cleaning. It effectively clears and cleans your sinuses. There are 3 settings to use depending on your preferences. It has 2 nozzles in case you care to share the unit or you wear one out. I charged it overnight when first received. The bottom easily comes apart to add warm distilled/sterile water. The charge remains for a few days.

Weak but that's good

PeoplePhobic December 2, 2021

Coming from the bottle-style nasal irrigator this feels pretty weak. That is a good thing though. You won't ever blow out your ears with this. I noticed that this company makes a water flosser with nearly identical controls. I wish they would have combined the two products to add some value and save me some space in the cabinet. The irrigator did the job. The soft setting was way too weak and the pulse setting induced sneezing. It used an unfortunate charging cable which is USB-a on one end and some weird thing on the other. If you're going to use a USB cable and not include a wall adapter it should just use USB-c or micro USB like most phones. Also, the charging cord is very short (approx 32 inches) which makes it even more annoying.

Not necessarily better

Kelson November 29, 2021

This cutting edge Netty Pot is well-designed, attractive, easy to hold one-handed, rehargeable quickly, compact and self-contained, which means no wires or tubes hanging and tangling. It has Pulse and Gentle settings. IT WORKS BY forcing warm, salty water up your sinus then across to the other side and out that nostril. I looked forward to seeing if it could help my frequently stuffy nose. PROBLEM IS as it makes the corner from one side to the other, it feels like a poke in the eye: a sharp headache. I tried again in the other nostril, and after that, my nose and eyes were running so much, it actually kind of worked. SOLUTION: Old-fashioned nosedrops work fast and easy with less cleanup, and they don't make your eye ache. But if you like to use drops or a Vicks inhaler, this device might be perfect for you.

Save yourself... buy an in-store Netty Pot

Box arrived half filled. Only option allowed is to return the item, but even that isn't straightforward. Looks like another phone call to CS is needed. What a waste of time !
