back in the day before computers design programs I was a full time board mechanical draftsman for 6 years and used electric erasers a lot. Its hard to find an eraser that picks up a line and not leaving a shadow. Also tight places this small thin manual eraser allows you to see what you are after getting removed an not touching the item that is to be untouched. Also use for thinning colors and adding lines to a drawing.
When there are tiny places that need a correction this eraser is perfect. It erases cleanly and easily. Works great on larger areas as well. I liked it so well I ordered some refills.
Excellent eraser for small areas in color pencil . Competitive price and fast, well - packaged by Jerry's . Would recommend .
I love these for 'spot' erasing on my sketches.
Great, especially for my miniatures.
good point eraser for pencil art
What a find!
I used the Tombow MONO Zero Eraser Value Pack, Rectangle, 2.5mm for my sketching. So many times I will start out doing just a sketch, and it will turn out so well that I want to keep going and use it as a pencil drawing, but cannot, because the I can't erase the initial sketch lines well enough. This Tombow MONO Zero Eraser Value Pack, Rectangle, 2.5mm did a great job with that. I also found it useful for putting a highlight in an area where there was none, as I have done in the sketch included in this review. I used the eraser throughout this sketch to clean up my lines and to highlight. I like the rectangle shape because I can get into very small areas and spaces to remove what I don't want. It has a good erasure power, and the little shreds that come from erasing blow easily away. I like it a lot, and I especially like that it comes with 2 refills.
this review is about the TOMBOW MONO ZERO ERASER. it is a non-pv eraser, professional quality in a refillable PEN STYLE body with push button action and having a hooked top so it can be hung from a shirt pocket or clipboard etc. it has a precision tip which is great for details. the size is 2.5mmx5mm and is an ELASTOMER type eraser. the package comes with the pen style eraser plus 2 EXTRA refills. though the package does NOT state what type of marks it will erase, i have found that it is not meant for ink. it is perfect for erasing pencil marks. it does a perfect job. this eraser is great for the working person who is reliant of using pencils in their jobs, albeit accounting or the arts. having the hooked end on it keeps it readily available instead of leaving it laying around on a desk and having to sometimes search around for it. this eraser does NOT work on pen marks. this would fit nicely into an artists travel package, box or kit. its slim and lite. older children from middle school on up could make good use of this type of eraser because there is alot more pencil useage and most times they are having to carry a refillable pencil, which they need regular access to an eraser. having this type would make their schoolwork less stressful.
The Tombow MONO Zero Eraser Value Pack is 2.5mm in size and rectangle in shape. The idea of an automatic eraser is nice. I am always searching for an eraser. I can always throw this in with my stuff and I don't have to dig around for it. I hate the erasers that you put on top of pencils. They fall off or wriggle while you are trying to erase things. With this item you don't have those problems. On the negative side, it doesn't erase quite as well as the eraser that comes on top of a pencil.
