I use these for the outside air conditioning unit as mice get in there in the winter and chew the wires.

Is there a specific way to place the opening of the trap? I.e., there opening facing the baseboard, or at adjacent to? I put down 4 traps, the opening facing away from baseboards and the traps get moved, but no bait appears to be eaten. I've had the traps down for 3 weeks.

It caught nothing but lint. Was a waste of money.

As I read the other reviews, I realized that this product does work, and very well. But unfortunately it will work on other animals too, not just the intended. Consumers need to be very aware that bromethalin, the active ingredient is HIGHLY TOXIC with no known antidote. And IF a non-intended animal (pet or otherwise) ingests the toxin, there is a high probability it will be fatal. Thankfully, we found our dog right away and within an hour we had him to the ER vet clinic. To be clear, I am in no way blaming the company. Well, except for maybe their misleading advertisement that the packaging is 'child and dog resistant.' And it doesn't matter how or where our dog found it. What I want people to understand is that innocent pets and wildlife are at risk if they ingest the active ingredient. Or even if they eat a dead animal that has ingested the ingredient, they are poisoned second hand.

House is spotless, all food stowed away. Blocks everywhere where we've seen activity. Wont touch the stuff. Far better luck w glue traps. Wasted my money

Bought the Tomcat mice bait stations because I have three little kids at home. I set up two of them in different locations in the house where I seen the mouse and both stations had been eaten out of. Have had the stations up for 7 days now and seen the mouse STILL running around tonight. Not happy!

Every morning I find mouse droppings on my computer desk. Also on my computer desk and on the floor below are Tomcat disposable stations. They have been there for a week, untouched by the mice who leave droppings within inches of the station. Frankly these stations are so small I wonder if a mouse could maneuver around in one of them.

Mice got stuck in multiple stations well before most of the bait was eaten. Since these disposable stations can't be opened to get the dead mice out and since they blocked other mice's access to the bait, I had to throw the stations away, resulting in wasted money. They should be redesigned to avoid this, like a child-safe way to open and close them. Very disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was sent to me to review. The package states that it is in a water resistant box making it safe for the out doors. I placed it under our bird feeder where we have very high mouse activity for the seeds the birds through on the ground. I checked it the next morning to see if there was any activity and found that the box leaked and it was full of water from the sprinklers. I emptied it out and let it dry out. I then placed it my shop where the mice come in for the winter beside my roll up door. It has had zero activity since placing it there 7 days ago. Mouse traps have caught 4 mice in that time. Disappointed. Product is child and pet resistant.
