Best mouse traps ever!! Easy to set and easy to release deceased mouse from trap. We have caught many, many mice in our barn with these!!
I used these last year and they worked perfectly.
I place the trap, set, with a tiny piece of Ritz cracker on it. Everything loves Ritz. I put it inside a small paper lunch bag on my counter. Mouse goes for the cracker, trap snaps and ends the life quickly. I can peek in and see that there is a mouse but don't have to look at the whole scene. Grab the edge of the bag and into the garbage. No horror show.
I live in the country. So that means mice! Ugh! Ironic the woman with pet rats! I have tried several types of traps. Traditional Victor. They rarely catch anything but my fingers! Or the few times they work, mousey is a bloody mess. The white Tom Cat Snap traps are great and super easy to set up! And they always work within 12 hours. I think the secret to their success is the bait goes in a recessed cup. Mousey has to really get in there. The teeth are lightweight but strong! I've never had a mouse be only half dead! Although I don't want mice in my home, I do not want them to suffer! Cannot say enough good things about these traps. Oh, they are easy release, so no need to touch the dead critter. I throw my traps out, but because these are not wood, they are easy to sterilize. I will say this. I've tried the black Tom Cat snap traps. I don't like them because they are so sensitive that it always goes off between setting and placing on the floor. I will always use Tom Cat white snap traps! Best traps ever. I've used 4 brands wooden ones, the little house ones. Tom Cat white snap traps are the only way to go! I've recommended them to several people and always will.
two mice in two days .. didn't use any kind of bait just set it up like the instructions said with the open mouth of trap against the baseboards .. didn't kill the mice, caught them both by the leg as they ran across them .. easy disposal .. they are lightweight so they can drag them but they can't get loose
They do the job, also very simple to set, they don't go off in your hand ,like the popular brands do.The popular brands are good, but to sensitive for me.
I love how easy these are to set but we aren't catching many mice...they are getting the bait but not tripping the trap in most instances. Need to be just a bit more easy to trip. They are the most easy to set and dispose of when a mouse is caught. Will keep using them as they are still the best on the market for ease of use.
I bought a two pack of these lovlies and thought it would be great because I could use them over and over again. I have a little mouse that loves to join me in the kitchen at night after the family has gone to bed. We have named him Mr. Jingles (Shawshank Redemption mouse). He is bold and I think he watches me and laughs at my feeble attempts to catch him. I have tried multiple things for bait with these traps and he takes the bait everytime. He steals everything! He has even cleaned the peanut butter off of them and not once have they snapped. I do like how easy they are to set up and use, that part is great so I will give them credit for that, but the fact that a mouse can clean peanut butter off of them and walk away unharmed is ridiculous. I will be trying a new trap and hopefully Mr. Jingles will meet his maker.
Having continual problem with mice getting into my kitchen cabinet. Wanted to buy the larger trap - where they go in and it snaps shut - store didnt have those. Bought these -Seemed like it would work, when I removed it from package and gave it a test run, it seemed to snap shut with force. BUT I am very angry that I set the trap, and this morning found the mouse ate the bait but the trap did not spring. Not worth it if I am only going to be feeding them and not catching them.
I bought 4 of these. Thought they were a great idea because the regular wood/wire traps make me a little jumpy and these were super easy to set. They snap with little issues but they have no real BITE. Set 4, caught 3, had to kill 2 myself because they were still writhing around in there, 1 was killed from being cannibalized by other mice while I was away. The 4th had the bait eaten without being set off. Not worth it.
