I just took it out of the box and placed the disposable station where I needed it. This is safe for children and pets to be around. The disposable station works well.

I put it out and haven't seen a sign of the rats lately.

i saw one rat or mouse eating the dirty dishes in the sink one night so i made this purchase. I purchased the item and placed it near where i saw the rodent escape from; a couple days go by. Half of the bait is gone by now and i think the animal is dead but i still hear noises at night some times and the bait looks to have been eaten more. i catch the rodent in a restroom (windowless) and think it will just die from starvation. I don't know if neither the poison or the lack of food weakened it but 8 days after the bait was first consumed i found it while sweeping. I ended up killing it with the broom. since then neither heard or saw a rodent. only reson for 2 stars instead of one is because i cannot confirm that it did not makle the rat weaker so i could kill it with the broom. expected it to run away at first sight. tldr 3/4 ths of the bait was consumed by the mouse/rat over a 8 day time period and it did not kill it,

Not sure what is in this, but whatever it is, the rats hate it. We have had no nibbles on this since we put it out 2 months ago. We still have rats, and some of the rats are too large to get into this.

Says right on the package that its pet proof and it is NOT!!!! My dog chewed open the side of the plastic and got some bait out, not much more than a trace thank God but if we hadnt have seen it god only knows how much she could have got. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE PETS!!!! Even tucked away under the sink they still managed to find it and got it open...NOT PET PROOF!

I have placed two of these bait stations underneath shed which rats usually runs through in and out from the ground too. It has been around a month since I set up the bait station, tried to look through, but too opaque to see if it was bitten or chewed through the poison block. None of any dead rodents I find around the backyard nearby the shed. Tried putting inside the shed where I have seen any of rodent droppings on the floor. Didn't work either. Maybe the bait block didn't smell good to those rats. Got to try peanut butter with classic mouse spring trap on wooden board.

I havent seen any dead rats yet and very little poison has been taken from the trap. I checked on this product before i purchased it. It was one of the top products but I havent seen any dead rodents and one even walked into my house since the purchase. Probably wont buy this again as I may just be feeding the little guys instead of killing them.

This product didn't work for me. I placed it in several different areas of my home but the rodents didn't take the bait.

Rats walk around this bait and show no interest after 2 weeks.
