[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Product . I Live Close To A Wooded Area And We Have Seen Mice In Our Home So I Gave This A Try . I Like That It Is Tamper Resistent So It Will Protect Your Fur Babies And Children But Think That It Could Be Made Better To Where It Is Not So Hard To Open As Some People Have More Of A Pest Problem Than Others And You Can Only Catch So Many Before You Have To Open It To Throw Away The Dead Ones . And I Think That It Should Have Came With Bait . I Also Like That It Does Come With A Key . I Keep Mine In A Zip Lock Bag . This Bait Trap Can Be Used Indoors Or Out . Ours Was In The Attic .
This is second set of two Tomcat Rodent stations I have gotten. I added the large rat sized traps at the same time. I would have given a 5 rating but new ones came with a different type of key to open the Rodent station but is hard to use. I would recommend this product.
Good bait station design, but the locking mechanism needs work. I made some changes and now have a great bait station.
It was hard to open but would be nice if it said on the box and people in the store knew that the bait was extra. Would also be nice if the bait part number was listed on the box as well
There was no poison its just a plastic box for 22:00 dollars the was a loss of money.
I would not do it now if the product was not so poorly designed. My reasons: 1. The station is very difficult to open. Would be probably impossible for anyone with arthritis or other problems with hands; 2. Does NOT include bait for the station. Useless without the bait and I have no idea where or how to get the proper bait. Recommended bait goes over a rod that is several inches high. I have never even seen such bait. 3. product is larger than what is convenient to put against a wall. 8 1/2" x 10 " leaves few spaces where I can place it without worrying about someone tripping over it. Don't know, and will probably never know, how well it actually works.
Worst design ever. The unlock mechanism is virtually impossible to get to open. Hard to believe something so poorly designed is sold. Secondly the TOMCAT bait blocks actually won't stack and fit in the station!!! Stunningly poor product that will go in the trash because I don't want to deal with a return at Walmart
did not know you had to buy traps to go in it. dang. i wanted to catch a bunch of mice at a time. no good for me. sorry.
