Tommee Tippee Advanced Anti-Colic Slow Flow Nipple, 2 pk.

I have been using this bottle for a few weeks now to try and see if there was a noticeable difference in my very gassy little guy who also has reflux. I was surprised to find there was actually a change! He isn't arching or lifting his legs when he eats with this bottle and there is less crying and fighting at the bottle. There's way less burping as well. I only wish I had used these sooner! Another important aspect I feel I should mention is that they don't leak from the ring. I had another name brand bottle that I tried when the baby was just born and it leaked from the ring. No leaks with Tommee Tippee! There are more parts (3 pieces) to the bottle to wash and I'll be honest, wasn't looking forward to washing extra parts but after seeing the change in the baby will be glad to wash them! It's honestly not bad and it comes with a tiny pipe cleaner brush that can get in all the crevices so you know they're nice and clean. This busy mom of 3 gives the anti colic bottle 2 thumbs up. After trying many different bottles our newborn took to tommee Tippee right away. These bottles are also super easy to clean and assemble. Some other bottles we tried had multiple parts and would take forever to clean. We love tommee Tippee! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I received this product only a week ago and have already purchased two more. My daughter has severe colic and this seems to ease the discomfort most other bottles cause. Also the consturction of this bottle makes it easier to wash and sterilize than other anti colic bottles. I would recommend this product to any mom whose baby has a sensitive tummy! My daughter is very picky with nipples and has some difficulty with latching due to a tongue tie. However, the nipple was very easy for her to latch onto and she took to it right away. The special anti-colic vent also helped prevent her from getting as much air as she does from standard bottles so she did not spit up nearly as much as normal. This bottle is great!!! I have a 4 month old who is drinking around 6oz a bottle. With the increase in oz we were having a lot of trouble with tummy gas. I received this product to review and I am so glad I did! It has reduced the amount of air my LO intakes while feeding. We have been using the closer to nature regular bottles and still love them- but I now prefer to use the anti-colic bottle especially for night feedings since my LO refuses to burp while sleepy! I really like this bottle! It has helped a lot with gas pains and reducing spit up. I love that the original Tommee Tippee nipples fit on this bottle with no leaks and it's really easy to clean and assemble. On my bottle the large white piece sometimes doesn't want to stay down but when the nipple ring is placed on the bottle it goes down and forms a seal. Formula has gotten trapped under the clear silicone piece before so I just use a formula mixer prior to putting the bottle together ( I would most likely use this any ways because it mixes powdered formula better than shaking). This bottle has a wonderfully shaped nipple, and I do believe that breastfed babies would take easily to it. It also does seem to do a good job keeping baby from getting too much air while feeding. My 2-month old (exclusively bottle-fed) seems to like this bottle. My main frustration with this bottle is that it requires 3 hands to (or 2 hands plus a clean place to lay bottle parts) in order to put formula into it. There are 3 distinct pieces to the bottle: the bottle, the lid with nipple, and the "straw" air valve. The way it is designed, the "straw" air valve takes up all the space at the top after you take off the lid/nipple. That means that it is impossible to hold onto 3 parts and put formula in. To combat this problem, we only use this type of bottle at home where we know we have clean surfaces to make the bottle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I received this bottle to review in exchange for an honest opinion. My six month old has been using a different brand of bottle but I'm always looking to see if there is something better out there. I was first struck by how many parts there are to this bottle, which made washing time twice as long... and I'm not sure what those parts even do. I had to buy a fast flow nipple to use, it came with a 0 month nipple. The plastic of the nipple was thinner than his current bottles and kept deflating as he drank, so he would have to let go and wait for it to reinflate. In the end this anti colic bottle made him a little more gassy than usual. Not a bad bottle, though I won't be purchasing more, it's probably worth a try if your baby has colic and you need to try something new. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Specifically ordered size 2 to be delivered to my home to size up the nipples on my daughters bottles and was sent size 1 instead and was 5 days late being delivered as well
