I have been using this bottle for a few weeks now to try and see if there was a noticeable difference in my very gassy little guy who also has reflux. I was surprised to find there was actually a change! He isn't arching or lifting his legs when he eats with this bottle and there is less crying and fighting at the bottle. There's way less burping as well. I only wish I had used these sooner! Another important aspect I feel I should mention is that they don't leak from the ring. I had another name brand bottle that I tried when the baby was just born and it leaked from the ring. No leaks with Tommee Tippee! There are more parts (3 pieces) to the bottle to wash and I'll be honest, wasn't looking forward to washing extra parts but after seeing the change in the baby will be glad to wash them! It's honestly not bad and it comes with a tiny pipe cleaner brush that can get in all the crevices so you know they're nice and clean. This busy mom of 3 gives the anti colic bottle 2 thumbs up. This bottle was sent for me to evaluate. This is my honest and unbiased review.I trust that my thoughts in this review will prove helpful in some way, [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
However, these particular TWO have something defective with the inserts? I've been using these types for years & have NEVER encountered problems connecting the purple long valve stem to the round white cap insert? But BOTH of these refuse to connect without repetitive brute force? Just curious IF the inserts have been re-designed? My 8yr old ones still connect seemlessly!!! This may be just a FLUKE set? I still love the TT anti-colic feeding system no matter what, just never had such a issue as these two...TOTALLY STILL RECOMMEND & really appreciated the excellant value these were & the prompt shipping!!!! It's my personal opinion, but I like Tomee Tipee bottles more than the other brands for newborns. My baby doesn't struggle to suck the formula out and I don't have to punch the tip (or cut the tip) to increase the flow. Another perk (that I wasn't aware of when I bought them) is the temperature strips on the inside tube-thing that turns pink if the contents are too hot. I'm super happy with these bottles!
Love these bottles for some reason I couldn't find these exact ones in store but I didn't want to get anything else as he is doing well on these bottles.
I love these bottles. No nipple confusion. You have to make sure to keep the little plastic end piece inside opened up or the nipple will suck in. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love these bottles!! My daughter kept having milk leak out of the corner of her mouth, causing a lot of gas issues. The wide nipple alleviated that entire issue. She eats like a champ now and minimal gas issues because of the anti-colic vent.
So far loving the results of the bottle preventing our baby from swallowing as much air as other bottles.
Love it my child is happier now
This bottle has a wonderfully shaped nipple, and I do believe that breastfed babies would take easily to it. It also does seem to do a good job keeping baby from getting too much air while feeding. My 2-month old (exclusively bottle-fed) seems to like this bottle. My main frustration with this bottle is that it requires 3 hands to (or 2 hands plus a clean place to lay bottle parts) in order to put formula into it. There are 3 distinct pieces to the bottle: the bottle, the lid with nipple, and the "straw" air valve. The way it is designed, the "straw" air valve takes up all the space at the top after you take off the lid/nipple. That means that it is impossible to hold onto 3 parts and put formula in. To combat this problem, we only use this type of bottle at home where we know we have clean surfaces to make the bottle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I would've enjoyed these bottles, my son likes them and so did i. however after a few days they started leaking. i'm not sure why and can't stop it. so because of that i no longer use them.
