This gem will be in my Arsenal for combating my sciatica . It wraps comfortably around my lower back and the pressure it is brings with the heat/cold adds extra relief. I simply cannot say enough good things about this wrap, just do it you won't regret it!
I get sore pretty easy when doing chores around the house and outside in the yard. This back wrap has come in handy several times. It's easy to use on your own and you can adjust it to fit your particular body size and tightness you like. I like that I can use the same wrap for either hot or cold therapy. The wrap itself is well made and the Velcro part is very strong. The gel pack insert is also very nice quality. It's not a cheap ice pack like the ones you use in a lunch bag. So far I've mostly used it warm. But it also can be chilled.
My husband is quite a fan of this back wrap. His back is often sore steaming from a lasting soreness that pops up due to a herniated disk suffered some years ago. He plays soccer frequently, and his back gets sore and tightens up often after playing. Since he uses the wrap to treat 'new' injuries, or more accurately, flair ups, he tends to use the wrap cold opposed to heating it. He says it is quite comfortable and easy to adjust. It can be warn sitting down, lying down, standing up, and even standing up on the move. It attaches through velcro and stays in place easily. It seems to be made of sturdy material and the ice /heat back seems sturdy (no feeling that it will easily break or can't be manipulated; this is important, because poorly made ice/heat packs tend to break easily). My husband since that the packs stays cool and comfortable for more than an hour and needs less than a half hour to refreeze to the temperature he prefers. Though this ice pack is made for the back, I've seen my husband use it for an injured ankle as well. He had been stomped on while playing soccer and used it to help reducing the swelling/brusing around the ankle. He says that it was easy to manipulate and wrap around the ankle despite that not being the main purpose of the compress. Overall, after around a month and relatively heavy use, my husband says that this compress is one of the better ones that he has used.
This thing is awesome! I love how secure if feels when I wrap it around my back, and it has enough Velcro to fit people of all sizes. The hot/cold pack seems to be the absolute perfect temperature either way.
This is the best thing since sliced bread. There was no way to wrap ice around your lower back until this belly came out. Stays cold for about 35 minutes. You can but your perfect spot for pain relief with this belly. Amazing.
Great support relieved pain
This Tommie Copper Compression back wrap came at the perfect time. My husband came home from work with a pulled back injury the same day it arrived. The Velcro adjusts to fit multiple sizes, and comfortably fits both of us. The insert allows for the addition of hot or cold therapy. The only downside is it requires freezing or boiling to use, and then after the heat or cooling is done you have to wait all over again. Still, it does the job and helps provide relief.
I am returning due from the condition of the box and the already opened product. This was to be a gift and it would be embarrassing to give. I would suggest during the Christmas season best efforts be in place to send new product.
