Tom’s of Maine Unscented Natural Deodorant for Men and Women, Aluminum Free, 3.25 oz

We buy this more for a deodorant then for an antiperspirant. The prompts again are not relevant to us, but we will do our best to use them. At our age our physical activity, as my husband would say is the lifting of the fork. I do try to get walks in but very seldom get up to a sweat with them. Laundry creates more activity fighting with the washer when it gets out of balance, lifting wet bib overalls are heavy enough, so who needs weights. The only bike ride I go on is my stationary bike and even then I do not work up a sweat. Not sure how to apply the "motion sense", does this deodorant have AI tech to sense motion, well I hope not that would be creepy. This does seem to give the 24 hour protection. The reason we choose this brand was after being exposed to chemicals between farming and the fires, I became very hyper sensitive to a lot of personal care products. This brand was found after many trial and error. I did not break out from it, even unscented products give off a scent but this one did not seem to cause me any anaphylactic reactions, so that was a bonus. We have been using this brand for years and was a little leery when they change packaging, but it still works well without any issues.

My oncologist recommended this before starting radiation treatment. It has no aluminum. It worked great and the lavender smells wonderful. It costs more but lasts a very long time...almost a year! Definitely recommend this. I have been buying this for the last 7 years.

Tom’s of Maine Natural deodorant - this is an unscented deodorant and happy there is no after scent. Very good protection, goes on smoothly, dries quickly. No transfer of the deodorant to clothes. Aluminum free is a plus. Costs a bit more, but it is a very good product.

The trick with this product is to apply A LOT and to apply it every 12 hours. And it works very well, keeps me dry, doesn't smell odd, keeps me from smelling like BO, doesn't stain my clothes. Otherwise it does not work. It must be heavily applied in the AM after shower and the before bed.

Like it but it's not as odor protecting as I would have hoped. Love the smooth, glide on feel, not sticky, unscented but actually has a very faint and very nice smell....not like some unscented. I just wish it kept me odor free for more than just a few hours

Subtracted two stars because of false advertising. The photos show a white/waxy stick, but the product is actually the clear gelatin kind. If the advertising industry actually took photos instead of computer generating everything, we’d live in a much better world.

I used Tom's for nearly 20 years. I liked the apricot, which did a good job of keeping me stinky-free. Not so with the new Tom's. One good sweat and yikes! Ew. Also, was disappointed with the new strong smelling Tom products--headache-inducing smells. The unscented doesn't smell bad, but it just doesn't work like the old Tom's. Looking for a new product.

I applaud Tom's switch to gender inclusive marketing with their scents; but the Clean Coast scent I chose smelled really strong and artificial, like Coast or Irish Spring soap. I have been off artificial scents for years but I still remember those kinds of smells. Definitely not want I want out of more natural products; I immediate returned it. Besides the outer cap there is an inner cap which does not need to be removed to smell test it; so product stays hygienic.

Unscented is great if you have issues with scents. However, in this case you're trying to cover a scent and there's noting in this product to cover it with. I've never tried the Tom's deodorant that is scented but the Unscented is useless. Seriously, just do use anything and you have the same results.

It has a strong lavender smell which is nice. But over all odor protection is none existing. I work from home so not much movement/sweat, I wouldn’t waste my money on this product. Also, I’ve noticed it darken my armpits a bit, not sure if that’s just a reaction of my skin to the ingredients in this product.
