TomTom 4.3" and 5.0" Universal GPS System Carry Case

The TomTom case is a genuine TomTom case & fits my Vio 1500M SE quite nicely. I was holding my breath - this was advertised by Walmart as included in a bundle for a special price, and it wasn't indicated that the case was by TomTom.

The case is worth the price, however I was somewhat disappointed that it has no extra pocket or anything to store you cords in. The whole purpose of buying a carrying case is so that you can store it and take it with you, in reality a person usually stores their product and its components in one place so they know where they are at. It has one simple very well made pocket that the GPS fits into, and that is it.

Only thing...Need to remove the dashboard mount for the unit to fit well into the case. Otherwise the case is well made and protects well.

This is my first GPS. It took a while to figure out how it works. Tried it a couple of times and it did take me to the place I wanted, but not necessarily the shortest way. I would suggest planning with a map before you go. I bought it because if I make the wrong turn in a strange place, it will set me back on the right track. Good value for the money.

This is to fit my 5.0" TomTom, but it isn't thick enough to put it in with the windshield mount on it.

I had to return the carry case. My 5.0" TomTom didn't fit in there. The mount on the back didn't allow it to close. Maybe I was doing something wrong but I returned it.

Do not care for this, It does not have information as how you are suppose to put your device into the case, is very thin and should hold the unit not just the gps stripped down and then you have to put the other parts elsewhere. not pratical for my tom tom start.

The way the case is made you have a difficult time getting it in there because it can not expand large enough to hold the GPS let alone the cord.. If you are able to get it in then the flap cannot lay flat, terrible design not worth the money. Because I ripped apart the packaging I cannot bring it back for a refund.

Its a nice case for just the GPS. But you have to take off any mounts you have on it and there is no room for anything else. Basically its just something to keep the screen from getting scratched. I would have gotten a bigger bag to hold the accessories, however I ordered it online and didn't really see what I was getting.

I got this with the tom tom 1500m and because the mount is attached to the back of the tom tom I can't get the case to close using the magnet. It would be good if it was just the tom to a md not the arm on the back to mount it. And it came with my tom to. So you would have thought that it fits!
