Nos sorprendió que las canciones son las originales y que está súper bien adaptada Toy Story 1
Lots of the other reviews take issue with the "new songs" but these songs aren't new at all and they aren't original to Tonie. They are taken from the 2002 Toy Story album released by Disney Pixar as any true fan would know. My son has loved listening to "You've got a friend in me" and the roll call song. He prefers them to the story. I have found that their is something a little uncanny about the voices in the story. I assume these are clips from the film but occasionally they don't quite sound like the original cast.
My grandson loves his Woody Tonie, but he really only loves the first song, “You've Got a friend in Me!” Hopefully as he gets older he'll appreciate the rest of the tape!
Like most have said, we just prefer official voices, songs, etc. from the movies and not original content made for the tonie that isn’t from the movie. I’d rather tonies like this be the official “you’ve got a friend in me” song an then just straight into the audiobook style retelling of the story than to have several songs that aren’t really in the movie. I wish all tonies were limited solely to content actually in the movie it represents. I get the idea to creatively add more musical options to some of these, but my kids just don’t connect with the songs that aren’t actually in the movies. The voices typically are close enough that it’s less of a concern than song selection to us.
My son loves Toy Story so this was a must have. However, it seems the first song they weren't able to get the rights for and the person singing it is terrible. Then there's the army guy song (on the Buzz one), then there is this very creepy alien song. The last song I also never heard of. The story follows the movie but there are different voices and phrases than the movie. Overall, I wish I would have gotten a different one.
To be honest, this is the only Tonie that has failed to meet expectations. My son has the Buzz Tonie, and that one has songs that make sense, and the narrator sounds calm. The Woody, however has some songs that are genuinely weird and creepy, and the narrator is way off. Can’t recommend.
The songs are not good, the iconic “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” sounds like it was recorded by someone in the midst of an asthma attack. The story is fine but the songs are a huge miss.
Didn't realize it was Spanish!
They sent a Spanish version, although it wasn’t what I ordered
It’s so rough. The second song is like a military march and my toddler said “all done. Off!” The Claw song is strange. The cover of Friend in Me is decent.
