One thing I really liked is how it addresses the common superstition that black cats are evil and instead turns that idea around by making the cat your friend. The story follows a cat named Chime, and the player helps Chime on his quest. What makes this game especially fun is that it directly asks the player to make choices throughout the story. Kids get to turn the dials and select what happens next, which keeps them engaged and excited to keep continuing onto the story. The storyline is intriguing and unpredictable, so it definitely does feel like a journey and an adventure rather than just a story you listen to once. The voice actors sound amazing and do a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. Their voices are expressive and clear, which makes the story extremely engaging for kids. My child is 7, but I honestly think younger kids could also enjoy this because the language is very simple and easy to understand. This story is also very educational. It introduces new vocabulary, such as words like fossils and other scientific names for animals, without feeling like a lesson. Of course, it depends on the child and their interests. My son loves adventure and absolutely loves dinosaurs, so he had a great time learning the different names and facts. Overall, this is a perfect mix of learning and adventure, with lots of listening and imagination involved. The sound effects deserve an A+++ because they are very realistic and is what kept the story feel alive.
