With a name like Tonka, you know it's built to last. I still have some Tonka trucks from my childhood (early 80s) that are still in great condition, aside from a little rust! These things are simply built to last. No, they don't make them exactly how they used to, but these are still clearly built to last. This is a good-sized truck, and that's another thing I have always loved about classic Tonka trucks-- they're not small little toys. I'd say, if you're ever planning to ever buy toy trucks, Tonka is the brand to trust!
This is a classic i remember growing up playing with a tonka dumptruck. I was super surprised to see that the bed was made of metal! The rest of the truck is plastic though, great sizes perfect for my 3 year old nephew he loved it. Iverall a great durable toy very similar to the classics would 100%recommend.
I received this product for free from the Wal-Mart Spark review program. I got this tonka truck for my 2 year old son. He lives it! Is is heavy duty and very durable. It is nice and large. Wheels and dump move smooth and easily. It is exactly like the classic metal truck we used as kids. Perfect for the sandbox/dirt but also great for indoors as well. He has been playing with it for days straight and he does not play lightly with it yet it still looks brand new and you wouldn't even tell he was rough with it. This is perfect for any young boy and I would highly recommend it. No assembly require which is always a plus!
Just like the Tonka toys I had as a kid, this truck is built durable and tough. Unlike a lot of the toys you buy in today's world this is a blast from the past. Have three girls and watching a truck load of barbies drive to a tea party is a site to see. I am confident this truck will be around when they get older and have kids. I am very happy and excited about the rinks truck!
This is a great little dump truck for around the house, the back yard or at a preschool where it gets lots of use. It is heavy duty and will last a long time. It is on the heavier side because the bucket is made of steel which is great as my son typically throws cars and cannot easily pick this one up. It is very durable, no dents, cracks or scratches yet. My son fills the dump up with junk and drives it across the house to dump the items somewhere else. It is easy to tip the dump bucket. This toy keeps my 16 month old occupied for hours! I highly recommend it.
Bought two of these Tonka trucks. My great-grandsons love them. Was told they were every thing I wanted in the trucks. Metal and durability. Thanks for making 2 kids really happy
This truck is perfect and solid. It's not too huge to be inside but also big enough to be outside to haul real dirt, rocks, etc.. Perfect for that kid dump truck lover or the kid who loves to play in dirt.
My five year old son absolutely loves this truck. He used it to haul dirt and rocks outside. I was really impressed on how sturdy the bed of the truck was. Love the metal instead of plastic.
my grand its strongly built will last a life time we we past this down for years to come it.washable and never have worry about breaking great quality thanks spark
We have bought 3 of these dump trucks. My son got his first one at 2, he's now almost 5. Living in Florida, his first dump trunk got taken to the beach a lot. After a year and a half the bed of the truck rusted off. It was disappointing but maybe par for the course with the amount of use it got. When they went on sale we got two more. For $17, it will definitely be money well spent.
