The truck is very well made, with metal body and hard plastic black parts, super realistic. High quality product. This is a toy that will last for ever, also is a great toy to collect or to have as an office decoration. Is does not have engine or controls, it just move the caterpillar and the front by hand. But we recommend it 100%

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i always considered tonka toys the gold standard when it came to construction toys. when my son was younger we got him several metal tonka trucks...he played with them hard!! in his sandbox where they lived...when my son outgrew them they were still in such good shape i was able to donate them. My 5 year old nephew loves bulldozers so i got him this Steel classics retro bull dozer for his birthday. Its just like the one my son used to have. of course he loved it and will get many years of rough little boy play with it im sure!! its a really well made and detailed toy and a great size for little hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are no better trucks than Tonka's steel classics. I have a pretty rough and tumble 4 year old and they hold up so well. We already have a dump truck, front loader and now this bulldozer. The bull dozer is a little smaller than the dump truck but same sturdy quality design. I love how detailed it is and that there are no small parts that could be choking hazards for our 1 year old so its safe for a house full of kids. My son likes to put different action figures in the driver's seat. You can operate the pushing mechanism in the front by adjusting it up or down and it stays in position well. The actual roller part over the wheels is a rubber material and stays on well over the plastic rollers. Overall just a high quality product which I find is hard to come by in this world of plastic junk toys. We have also purchased the other "expensive" German brand of toy trucks and they were entirely plastic and broke within a month so after that I'll stick with the Tonka steel ones. The core base of this truck is steel and the details and pusher part are plastic. Great quality, this will definitely be passed down to the grandkids someday!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few days ago for my son. He loves it!! It is metal but it's not super heavy like the one from years ago. He loves pushing the sand and rocks around and dumping it out. I would recommend this to any kid. My son is 4. Over all he is a happy kid with it.

It's nice having a toy that doesn't require batteries - he was humorously confused when we gave it to him and he tried pressing anything that looked like a button. The dozer is sturdy and he has a great time pushing it all over the house.

We love that it has a retro look to it. The boys really love playing with the tonka bull dozer. I would recommend this to anyone.

It isnt steel. Its plastic. ill be returning it. Very disappointed
