Tonka - Steel Classics - Front Loader

The toys were in perfect condition surprisingly, but see the picture of how the box arrived. Just prepare yourself that, you may get a package that is already open, or missing items.

My Grandson. Loves his new addition to his Tonka truck collection This truck is big and sturdy also meets all expectations.highly reccomended for any boy to play indoors or outdoors.

This toy reminds me of the good sturdy toys I played with 50 yrs ago. The toys today are made out of so cheap plastic, it's good to know Tonka trucks really haven't changed. Solid rubber tires would make them better tho and also help them to last longer

The truck looks good and pretty sturdy. Being a Tonka and with the word steel as part of the name of the truck, I thought there would be more steel, but only one small section is actually steel. A lot is plastic. My grandson has only had it a short time and it has not experienced outside play to this point, so far so good.

Well built truck overall, however, the bucket and control mechanism really should be made out of steel! I would gladly pay a bit more for that feature as it would make the toy much more usable in the sand. As it is, there's too much flex in the plastic pieces. Not terrible, but certainly not like they were when I was a kid!

This Tonka model; "Steel Classics Front Loader" is very retro-similar in aesthetics and function to the original 1967 Tonka Mighty Loader. Nevertheless this modernized-rendition is way too flimsy in the plastic-front-bucket-area to be a real workhorse... thus it is UNLIKE the original all-steel, American made classic Tonka Mighty loader which is a legend and was nearly destruction-proof! Ultimately, I personally think item is nice-looking and I would recommend this specific Tonka Loader item -only to those fully aware of its inherit Limitations!

The bucket is cheap plastic. Definitely not worth $60. maybe $30.

The product was “Tonka” excellent, your service was absolutely abominable! You put my label on someone else's package, then sent an email congratulating me on my refund. When I called to find out what happened to my order, you told me and then said I needed to reorder. I did so and paid $1.50 more than the original order. No apology.

I understand the decline of quality in everything, but come on Tonka you are better than this!! Steel classics my butt, entire bucket assembly is cheap plastic that fell apart when my grandson attempted to use in beach sand. I use to bury bodies with my old real steel tonka loader, this thing couldnt move soft butter.
