Both statements are true because this bbq hot sauce hybrid is the perfect level of sweet and spicy. It's not too over powering but has enough kick to compliment any dish. It's not too thick or heavy in flavor profile, and didn't leave a burning sensation in the mouth or stomach after eating. I would definitely recommend it for any family or friend event!

What a tasty product. This barbecue sauce goes great on ribs and chicken. It has a cat but it's not like it's too spicy. It's a manageable hot mess but it's also not bland. The sauce tastes good. It is not as hot as I expected but it is very sweet. I think it would be great in stir fry. I did like it but for $10 a bottle it is not worth the price. I enjoyed this hot sauce. It had a level 3 heat rating, but from someone who doesn't like anything hot it wasn't hot at all. I tossed my cauliflower in it and roasted the cauliflower. I'm not typically a fan of very spicy barbecue sauces so I was a little wary of trying this one but it ended up surprising me. Its an interesting blend of sweet and smoky flavors but the heat didn't hit me until the end. And then it really hit me. If you are a fan of very spicy, this might not be the one for you but if you like some heat without sweating, or if you're wanting to try but are scared of too spicy, this is a good choice. Everyone in my family tried the product and out of the 4 members, only 1 of us liked it and wanted to try it again. The primary complaint was the lack of "smokey" flavor typically associated with barbecue sauce and the sweetness was "too sweet". The slow heat was a nice touch at the end of the tasting, but overall we were all fairly underwhelmed with the product and most likely would not repurchase.
