This is gorgeous and beautiful and has a luxurious, expensive feel. I read that it was built exactly to spec from the Herman Miller design, and I believe it. It does not have a "lived in" feel - it's comfortable in a different way. It feels like it will last forever and I'm sure I'll be sitting in it 10 - 20 years from now. The leather is high quality. Whatever is inside the cushions feels so first class. I love it! It swivels but does not rock. It's "reclined," which means the gently reclined angle of the chair is stationery. I think it's very comfortable and I'm so glad I bought it! My dad was an architect and he and my mom bought a lot of mid-century furniture back in the 50's. They bought some of these chairs and we always thought they were the original EAMES chairs. Recently my mom moved and gave us (the kids) the chairs, and we discovered that they were not Herman Miller. But they were awesome and they lasted and my mom loved them until she moved! My dad had died and her new husband wanted something more traditional, so... there they went. Anyway, if you want upscale, these are very elegant and comfortable! Very high quality!

The leather looked more like faux leather other than that I like the look of the chair.

It is a great chair but it is small - about 2/3 traditional size - and low to the ground. We kept trying to find a way to extend the base to make it sit higher, but no luck As a 5'2” person I rarely find things too short - but this chair was definitely out of proportion to our standards height couch

Assembly was a bit cumbersome as the directions could have been more clear. Certain assembly steps require an extra set of hands. Fully assembled, the chairs looks good and I am pleased to date.

Only came with part of the directions. I had to email and ask for the directions for attaching the back and headrest. Still not clear at all about attaching the headrest. Not well padded.
