TOP-FILL POULTRY FOUNTAIN 5 GALLON

The first time, it didn't work. All the water leaked out. I called the company. Got a human right away. A friendly and helpful one, sounded Canadian. He was very helpful and supportive, reassured me and taught me a couple of trouble shooting ways. I went home and tried, and it worked beautifully.

Easy to fill and my girls love it.

When package opened first thing i checked is the venting cap. There wasn't one on the vent. i searched the box to locate the cap it wasn't in the box. As i was replacing the paper used in shipping the venting cap fell on the floor, it was in the folds of the packing paper. Someone needs to make sure things like this are taped in place for shipping.

I love that I could fill from the top because the base was very difficult to remove. I loved that my chickens would have plenty of water. I had to return it because if it was not perfectly level it would leak. I tried many ways and could not get it level

I needed this waterer for my inside cats for when I need to be away from home for a few days. I chose this type because I needed a "top-fill" waterer because of my physical limitations. I had used a similar waterer in the past (a different brand) and was satisfied with the results. This one is made completely different and no matter how hard I try, I cannot get it to do what it is supposed to. On looking back at other reviews, most people seem to have trouble getting it right, but after practice, several indicated that they got the hang of it. I generally understand science basics and I thought that if I worked hard enough at it, I would finally get it.....NOPE!! Just for reference, the waterer that I had gotten before that worked for me had a float on the inside. This one does not. So either all the water would empty out over the side, or it wouldn't fill the trough as the cats drank.
