I have bought these trash bags for years. They are the type that have flaps that you can tie shut. I have problems with the ones that have a draw string top. They tend to rip out when you pull on them to close them. These bags are not very expensive and work just as well the others I've bought.
Listen, sometimes you don't need all the extra scents and fancy drawstrings just to take out the kitchen scraps. If you tryin' to keep your coins in your pocket but still keep the kitchen lookin' right, these Top Job Basic 13-gallon bags are the move. You get 20 bags in the pack, and they handle that daily kitchen business without no unnecessary fuss. These are those classic flap-tie joints—you just pull the corners, tie 'em up in a knot, and keep it pushin'. They fit a standard kitchen can perfectly, and they hold up just fine for your regular everyday trash. The best part? You ain't payin' for a bunch of "name brand" hype. It's a solid, budget-friendly choice when you just need a reliable bag to toss the leftovers and the junk mail in. If you lookin' to stay organized without breakin' the bank, go 'head and grab these. It's a straightforward 10 out of 10 for the value alone!
I really like the design and size of these 13 gallon trash bags. The flaps work great when tying up the full bag. I like the little extra size that fits well over the edge of the 13 gallon kitchen trash bin, no sliding back inside. And I like that these are UNscented!
I am very impressed with the quality of these bags, especially considering they are marketed as basic. They are, in fact, so nice that I hate throwing them away. They seem pretty sturdy and hold up against many objects. They are ok for hiding smells while in a trash bin but I do notice when I take them out that even after being tied shut there is some odor. But that's a small nit to pick because I usually get the bag out of the house immediately. I buy the flap tie instead of the cinch tie because I feel like they can be shut completely when tied. Sometimes the cinch tops might lead people to just cinch and tie while leaving an opening at the tie point. And having a hole where you tie the bag is just asking for critters to get to the trash. Plus the flap ties are safer for critters, the cinch ties leave a loop after being tied and that poses a choking/strangulation hazard. As far as leak protection, I haven't had any issues - they've held some dripping containers and I never noticed any residue on the floor or in the trash bin. The price is a real winner and really invites you to give these bags a try.
These basic Top Job Basic Kitchen Trash Bags, (13 Gallon size) Flap Tie do the job as a regular liner for my tall kitchen waste can. It performs reliably for regular kitchen waste without ripping or tearing. I prefer the flap tie style which fits my waste can, which has a somewhat flared top, better than the drawstring type. It is simply to completely tie and seal when ready for weekly trash pickup. Good product at a good price.
They are thin but perfectly fine for lightweight kitchen use. A bit too wide, so they tend to collapse into the can. I would not get additional benefit by paying more for thicker bags.
These trash bags are basically good for lightweight paper products. Do not use them in the kitchen or anywhere where any kind of liquid would end up in them because they do leak. We eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. I made a mistake not throwing the trash out after throwing away the waste from fruit, it made a horrible mess leaking liquids within a few days
I purchased these because they are easier for me to get out of the waste basket. The first one I used had a tear in the bottom from something I had thrown into the bag. Coffee from coffee grounds was on the floor. Oh no!
I picked up my food order Tuesday afternoon. (today is Friday). The raspberries I received in my order are moldy. Although I received everything I had placed in my order and the order was processed not only on time, but early, I am very disappointed that these berries cannot be eaten even though I just picked them up three days and they went straight into the refrigerator when I arrived home. The berries were not inexpensive and I should not have to throw them away.
Garbage. Store cancels orders with no valid reason when they don't want to honor advertised price.
