Save your money -
The 24W motor is not capable of turning wood or for that matter aluminum with enough power. While you have a tailstock but the slightest cutting pressure is sure to deflect even the smallest work piece. I wish I could call it a toy lathe, but there have been other small lathes on the market that have been better suited. This also comes in a 6 in 1 machine version and an 8 in 1 version. The jigsaw, sander, drill, and drill press are about the only functional units you'll be using from this and those kits. I have seen videos of a similar machine with the 60w motor and it is impressive. Note, there no way to make screw threads as there is no auto advance.
