These pitchers are thin/compact, and fit very nicely in my refrigerator and cupboards. They are not airtight. Even with the lid in a "closed" position, liquid can still be poured. The plastic doesn't feel clunky, and it also doesn't feel fragile. The thickness of it is a great medium weight. The lids are easy to remove and replace, no twisting needed. The lids are secure enough when inserted for me to not feel the need to hold them in place while pouring. I like the strainer holes in the lids, and the overall simple-yet-sophisticated appearance of the pitchers.
