Toppik Dry Formula Lt Brown Colored Hair Thickener, 5.1 oz

I have been using Fullmore for over 10 years. When they made the change to this ...I was very disappointed, but decided to give it a try and to my surprise it was even better than Fullmore. The coverage is the same but more natural looking . It smells great also. I am very self conscience over my hair .... I want great coverage but I want it to look natural and this does the trick! !!!

This works great. I received it on time and I'm very happy with the product. I will definitely be ordering it again in the future.

Great product have purchased multiple times

I always like the colored hair thickener, but the new one come with less ounces which I am not pleased because you have to purchase more often. Do not like that it has the mixer ball in the cans, this is a private matter, for example you might be visiting and staying over someone's home and everyone in hearing distance does NOT have to know that you are shaking a can in the bathroom by the sound - feel a big no,no. Remove it please! If the user does not realize that you have to shake the can hard does not get it. Also, the product "spits" out all over the place - beware - you have to make sure you have an old shirt on when applying because your cloths will be full of splats. If Toppik can address these issues it would make it perfect.

I have been using the Fulmore spray for a long time, in light brown shade. While the price of this new product is lower, the can size is smaller (7.5 vs 5.1 oz). Every so often if I had trouble with the sprayer on the old product (only occasionally), I would rinse the nozzle, dry, shake and be on my way. This new can has a "metal ball pinging" sound when shaken, and I thought that would make it come out better. It doesn't. No matter how much I shake it, I get a few sprays out and then it's clogged. In one use on one day I had to rinse the nozzle repeatedly and shake the can until my arm until my arm hurt. The product itself works the same as the old one, when I can get it to work. By the way, I bought 2 cans of the new product and they both perform the same. Overall, a bit disappointing, but it's still the best thing out there that I've been able to find.

I liked the old product (Fullmore) better. This aerosol spray version is very messy and splatters all over. It get's on your body, face, ears,clothes etc... I spend as much time cleaning up as I do applying it.

Here is why I gave this product one star: 1) It's dispensed via aerosol spray; very forceful spray to the point where it makes a mess not only on your hair but if not careful, all over the mirror, counter top, and your shirt if wearing one. 2) When you shake the can, it's very noisy with the pellet hitting the can. I awoke my wife the first time and she thought I was going to paint the walls with wall paint. 3) It's hard to determine where to spray since the forceful spray blows the hair in all directions. Needless to say, I wasted my money but at the time I ordered it, there were no reviews. If I read the reviews now posted, I certainly would not have made the purchase.

Beware, this is a much smaller size than the fullmore that comes in the green can. The nozzle is horrible, sprays unevenly and leaves most of the product on the outside of the nozzle. LESS PRODUCT, HIGHER PRICE (PER OUNCE) AND BAD SPRAY NOZZLE. I am going to find and buy as much as I can of the original green Fullmore brand that I can afford and get my hands on.

I bought this product hoping that it would help fill in the thinning patches in my hair, as it was said to be a "thickener"but all it does it is leave a glue-like residue on my hair with a very slight tint. I don't recommend this product. I had high hopes and was very disappointed. The fibers are much better.

I have used the fibers for a while and thought I would try this product for a change. While the final coverage was good, getting the product on evenly was impossible. The spray was unpredictable, the nozzle dripped, and I found spots of the product all over the bathroom. I won't purchase another unless the spray feature dramatically improves.
