[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this brand of Laptops. I bought my son and daughter one for Christmas and ending up getting myself one because they are amazing. The Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 2 is very fast and can do so many things I couldn't have asked for a better laptop.
We have Lenovo computers at my current work and love them, and the IT guy at my last company recommended a Lenovo laptop when I let him know the case on my HP laptop had broken from sitting at home on a desk and getting opened a little more or a little less occasionally (essentially zero use by a mature adult). Super happy with my new Lenovo!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just recently purchased this computer, haven't put everything I want to on it yet, but what I have so far has given me no issues. I only wish the CTRL key and FN key were switched. Other than that, loving it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] + Regardless absence of thunderbolt, works perfectly with 2 FHD screens, and d6000 dock station, usb-c hubs (including charging) + Very silent. + Light and compact + Nice materials ++ Remarkable performance AMD processor and integrated video
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop has the perfect blend of all the Thinkpad goodness and the power of the Ryzen 5850U Pro processor. I have been using this as my main work laptop since last two weeks, and I am extremely happy with its performance. The laptop is relatively lightweight for a 14inch model and quiet thin. Heavy programs like Photoshop, Lightroom and CorelDraw load up fast and run quite smoothly. The trackpad is fantastic and the keyboard is exactly what you expect from the Thinkpad series- a delight to type on. All in all, this laptop is another winner from Lenovo's Thinkpad lineup.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cheaper computers with similar specs for the price but these are built to last. This is my third Lenovo and will be the only brand I buy due to quality of construction, only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is lack on inputs like a 2nd HDMI or similar forcing me to use adapters, all the Lenovo laptops seem to come with different inputs and that is a bit frustrating
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a decently well put together machine for the price. Performance from the AMD processor is excellent, and battery life it about what I expected from such a hot processor. Misses include substandard support for Linux - Fingerprint reader and WiFi were very difficult to get working, and inability to not purchase a Windows license when buying the laptop as I had no intention of using Windows 10.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Computer comes with good specifications for a capable basic workstation. Keyboard is good sized for a small form laptop. I like the portability of the 14". Only downside is the surface finish of the laptop has a tendency to collect dust and particulate easily, as I leave it out on the desk at the end of most days. Not a big deal or a functional issue in any way, just means a little extra cleaning attention.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laptops works fine out of box, seems to be decently durable. Touchpad feels quite nice, plus the click buttons and trackpoint are good features. Make sure you either know how to navigate BIOS or can deal with swapped FN and CTRL buttons, because they're swapped (as they are on all Thinkpads). This thing feels VERY repairable, with only a single screwdriver and a plastic spudger to get to the internals! It's a shame more laptops aren't as repairable as this one. All this said, the stock WiFi card on this laptop is awful, especially if you're trying to run Linux. It prevents the computer from waking from sleep properly on Linux, and will leave you without WiFi after waking. If you plan on running Linux, make sure you buy a new WiFi card like the Intel AX210.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gets pretty hot because Lenovo decided to remove a heatpipe, don't know why they removed the sd card reader, fan makes hissing noises, panel has pretty big bezels and is 16:9 which is just worse for productivity, left and right click buttons have no physical feel so it's very hard to find them without looking. Gave it two stars because keyboard is excellent and 4k panel has great colors
