This has been great! We bought this so that we could test the sound coming from nearby data centers. Yep! We're supposed to be getting one here in our city and we were told that they make no noise. This sound meter was to show others that they do produce a sound that runs continuously. If you're looking to prove your point to local officials that just don't listen to you about the noise from data centers, buy one of these then drive to the nearest hyperscale and break it out. Don't forget to video record the testing (just to make sure that the officials don't say you're lying about it). That way you can play the audio and video recording at your next council meeting and show them your recording device. Just a suggestion!

I'm still learning how to use it but the instructions are extremely clear and helpful. Def a device to buy,learn how to use, and the importance of its purposes.

This product is very easy to use and is a good value for the price. Also displays the temperature and humidity which is very useful and fun venue. Highly recommend this product.

This meter is awesome works perfect for all my needs. I purchased this to use with firearms and Airguns. I checked the across with a friends $180 db meter and mine was right in line with his the whole time and he said you paid what and smiled.

A practical and professional field meter for everyday sound level applications. Its measurements are within a few percent of those taken on my ancient professional meter for everyday sound level measurements. My review did not attempt to check the calibration of the the meter, but in the case of everyday measurement I would respect and use its readings.

as always FedEx knocked it out of the ballpark my only concern is the box for the top tees selling meter was in a bigger box with no baffling at all it just a box within a box so it would have been shifting side to side front to back freely without anything to break it's impact so I don't know if that knocked it off of calibration this is a finely tuned instrument but I find that more on the side of Walmart plus and it's vendors not FedEx FedEx didn't box it they just move it that'd be my only concern

Very impressive tool but it's a bit too advanced for my needs. It has a variety of setings and seems quite sensitive to sounds. Overall it seems like a tool for contractors or those in areas of sound applications.
