Product performed well. Three weeks in position, it alerted a small leak under the kitchen sink. Use Topvico's advice to wrap the detector with a paper towel to increase the surface area it monitors. The towel was wet, not cabinet, when a low volume buzz was heard. Will update later with battery life. This inexpensive device saved hundreds in water mitigation.

Seller fulfilled order in reasonable time. My second order as the device already alerted me to a small leak. Use the paper towel wrap to increase the detection area. I would buy more, but everything has an alarm now.

I bought these water alarms for a rental home. I was able to place a unit under both sinks and in the hot water heater pan. The lengthy wire on the sensor allowed me to position the battery case at a distance from the sensor near the front of the vanity cabinet and heater unit so it is easily accessible to anyone to turn on and off and to change the batteries. It is also off the bottom so it will not be exposed to any water if there is a leak. Only the sensor would be exposed to water. That is the advantage of this design. All the units tested fine and the alarm sound is loud which is important. I'm glad I purchased these because there have been issues in the past. I plan to purchase additional alarms for the main house. They give a great sense of relief.

Works good uses 9 volt battery..tested package was indeed .3 alarms...great bargain..

Super easy to install anywhere you may think a leak could occur. The alarm is loud and will get your attention, as it should!

Good price on a these water leak detection devices. Easy to set up. The sensor extension cord is helpful also. I plan to purchase more of these.

This product works as described. Cover is cheap but it works and you get what you pay for. Needs 9 volt battery

For the low price, it's a decent product. Pro: economical, high db, will buy again Con: on/ off switch flimsy , not water proof, fragile sensor %26 soldered point, low durability
