I drive an Excursion with a GVW over 8k lbs so finding a jack that will lift the front end of the truck isn't as simple as for our smaller vehicle. I was skeptical of this jack when I saw it but, I'll be danged, it lifted the front end right up off the ground. We did need to add a block for the height factor but it held the weight and we were easily able to get underneath and perform a couple of repairs. My husband and I are both happy with this product.

Let me start out by saying this is a good beginner low jack and decent price point for what you get. It's not fancy but gets the job done. From an efficiency stand point it is a primitive substitute for and only looks like a real floor jack. First of all the handle is a little too short. Its almost a compact floor jack. Secondly the lift I measured at about 3/16-1/4" of an inch per stroke so it takes a lot of strokes to reach full 14" height. Additionally, the lift saddle is kinda small too. Again..I would classify this as a decent beginner jack with a cool handle to carry.

Great product to keep in the trunk of your car makes it much easier to change a tire if needed than the factory jack. Does what it says Its light weight and built well. First time you blow a tire on a deserted stretch of road and try to use the stock supplied jack, you will wish you had this jack. Top notch, work perfectly fine with my Tesla Model 3 which weighs about 3400 lbs. I definitely recommend this jack.

First, let me preface that I am not a car person. At all. I know nothing about how to fix or even maintain most parts of cars. Until now, I wasn't even sure I could change a tire if I had to. But I figured it was time to learn. Using this lift, and a little guidance from a friend, I was able to get a small SUV off the ground with really not that many pumps. And after I was done, it released just as easily. I can't complain about anything. Keep in mind that the capacity of this is 5000 pounds, which is plenty for most regulars cars and smaller SUVs. But full sized SUV may be too much for this to handle, so if you have one, look for a high capacity model.

I bought this jack to replace the plastic ramps that I have been using to change the oil on our two vehicles. As soon as I got the jack I took it out of the box and was able to use it immediately to jack up my Honda civic and change the oil. The jack easily lifted the car off the garage floor and allowed me to place each side of the car on a jack stand (also Torin that I got at Walmart). The jack worked very smoothly and had plenty of capacity to lift the car. After I was done with the jack I was able to easily wheel it's storage location. I am very impressed with this tool and think this thing will last me a long time.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this hydraulic floor jack. It feels really sturdy and pretty well made. It does have a plastic handle for easy carrying, but it was sufficient for just carrying it. It rolls very easily, even on our not so smooth driveway. We tested this on my husbands truck- which we first read the weight as 3180.. we thought that was in pounds but we found out after double checking that was in kilograms. In pounds, that's 6900lb, which is nearly 2000lbs over for the Jack is rated for, which is 5000lb/2.5 tons. That's our mistake, and we definitely don't recommend repeating that mistake, but the Jack did withstand that, and preformed with flying colors. We were also pleasantly surprised that it's max height was just a little over 14 inches. The only complaint we have about this were pretty minor. The lock for the lever was loose, so the bar did want to fall out pretty easily at times. And lastly, we wished that the pressure was released just a little slower so whatever you're jacking up doesn't come down so quickly. Other than that, it feels like a pretty good quality Jack, and we will definitely be using it for our cars in the future.

I like the Torin floor jack, it is easy to use and operate. I take some time to jack it up to the level that I want, after that it hold up very well. The only problem that I was facing was the oil leak when I release the button, I was not sure whether I overturn it or not but I would turn it anti-clockwise slowly to release the jack next time to prevent the oil leak.

Garbage product save your money and purchase better jack made in USA even if at a higher price. Bought for my son as Christmas gift but used to change tire on his Scion TC. Even though car weight way below jack specs, it collapsed/folded at first use. Luckily he did not get injured. Contacted Walmart regarding problem/defect to which we received a reply that it was over 6 months since purchase that they cannot support or accept return. Since a jack is not an every day use item, unfortunately for us the first use was over the return limit. Stay away fro purchasing Torin Jacks and if not immediately going to use buy elsewhere, not Walmart.
