[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Toro roto tiller 3 weeks ago. Put it together and worked up my garden. This machine is a beast. it pulverized hard ground. I love it. Tines turn twice as fast as my Rally tiller that died after 44 years of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tiller has made my annual garden prep a breeze. It is easy to start and set up and digs deeply with ease. My only flaw is the packaging was damaged and one of the metal shields is dented out of the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Toro is a great tiller. When a cultivator would barely scratch the soil, the tiller did the job and broke up the soil. After a couple of runs through the garden, I found I didn't need a separate cultivator. Overall, an excellent product. Being a front tiller, it was a bit difficult to manage, but it got the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a great digging tiller. I would have gave it five stars if it had a throttle control to slow the tines down. This is greatly needed to keep it from throwing dirt over top of the plants when they are small and give better control in rocky ground.

After 46 or 47 years of service from our first tiller, we needed to purchase a new tiller.  However, we made a huge mistake when we purchased a Toro front tine tiller, model number 58602, in May of 2024.  Less than 4 months after our purchase of the Toro, the wheels broke off.  We took it to a certified dealer for repair.  Because of not being able to get the part in a short time, it took over 6 weeks to be repaired.  We used it once last fall and then 2 or 3 times this spring and the wheels broke again in the same spot.  It has been over 4 weeks and we have no idea when the part will be available for the repairmen to fix our tiller.  The part is made with cast iron, and that is not as strong as steel.  We needed to RENT a tiller to clean our garden and Toro will not reimburse us for our added cost because of the poor performance of their tiller. The personnel at the repair shop have been very kind and understand our frustration as we are not happy with the Toro.  If we could give it a minus rating, we would.  We do not recommend this tiller as it didn't last and we are having problems with the company.  Why have us keep replacing the part with an inferior part?
