Very Easy to assemble right out of the box. Battery Came pre-charged up. Used it for 20 minutes to try it out. Everything Worked just like it said it would. Charged the battery overnight. Next day I used it for one hour, with no loss of power. The battery pack on this is HUGE ! The entire mower is Very Light, easy to maneuver. Very Quiet in operation. Love that you can adjust the walking speed. Looking forward to many years of faithful use. It is a TORO after all….
This is my first experience with a battery lawn mower. After 7 lawn cuttings I am very pleased with the results. It is light weight, performs well at various heights settings and battery has been strong for the full 45 minutes it takes me to complete my lawn even when set on the maximum power setting the entire time. Its power drive works very well as I need it for a slight incline on my front yard and steeper incline on a small area of my backyard. I have started to bag my clippings because its bagger works so well. Also, its mulching performance is not as good as my Toro gas power mower. Only have 2 complaints; the safety flap at the base of the back of the mower curls under the mower when pulling it backward ( a hard pull is needed) , the flap is not sturdy and is starting to tear on the right and left sides. Secondly, a second battery should be included or provided at a discounted price since this mower needs to be run at the dialed full power setting for the entire cutting. I think this is going to challenge the life of the battery as it ages. It charges to full power after 3 hours. Only know this because I failed to recharge it one week and could not finish the lawn during the second mowing. Overall, I would purchase this mower again if it proves to lasts 5 years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Could use higher speed range , battery still had charge left . Appears to be a good mower..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful lawn when done. Great battery life. Easy to start. My only complaint is the self propel gear and the left rear wheel. It will not stay tight and the gear slips until it's retightened.
At times, it is rather hard to push and it seems the self propel doesn't always work even with the handle engaged. I cannot remove the mulch catcher at all despite following instructions. I have had 3 or 4 Toros and always liked them - easy to use, self propel worked very well until it died from old age. I was pleased to find this one at a great price but am slightly disappointed. I have used it only twice so we will see.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just started using it this year. It seems to have enough blade speed but I'm not sure if it produces enough vacuum. What I noticed it doesn't seem to pickup small miscellaneous sticks and debris. Also I feel the vacuum helps lift up grass that has laid over. I'm just not sure it works as my old 21” Toro personal pace gas powered lawnmower.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mowed my lawn three whole times with this thing before it started to fall apart. Buyer beware here, because in order to have the parts that fell off repaired or replaced, I have to load this thing up and bring it to a third party to verify. Never again for any of my lawn equipment.
I had to rate 1 star as I was only able to use the lawn mower for 5 minutes and then it stopped working. I tried troubleshooting with the manufacturer and was not successful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and only use it twice on my third attempt it stopped working after 10 minutes of usage.
Easy to put together and everything seemed good. Started to mow grass. Was going good. 15 minutes in, just stopped working. Did all the troubleshooting and still nothing. Now I have to take it in to see what is wrong with it. 15 minutes of use? This is ridiculous!
