Toro Nickel Cadmium Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect balance. It is so easy to hold and trim. Run time is good. I can get my small yard complete on one charge. The line feeds smoothly as long as it is tapped on a sidewalk or something quite hard. The small size makes it easy to store. I am very happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got a really good deal on this trimmer and I am very happy with it We have a fairly large yard and I can edge the whole thing on a single charge. It's lightweight (helpful for us Seniors!), but has no problems cutting through the thickest grass or weeds. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

I have irrigation heads that pop up throughout the yard and I like to keep the grass around each head trimmed (each irrigation head is surrounded by a cement donut as well that is about 7 inches in diameter). I have the typical trimmer that I use for edging around the lawn but this fits perfectly over the irrigation heads and does a great job.

Battery charged very quickly, even the first time, and held the charge long enough for me to edge both sides of my sidewalk and the curb. Very lightweight and easy to use.

I am impressed with all attributes of this product charging to period of use per charge (small jobs). My only concern has been that the string protector fails to stay clipped on to the working head when bumped against walls or other stationary objects. This issue has been resolved by the use of a multi-purpose tie to hold it in place.

I had a previous toro trimmer that was heavier and after six years the charging electronics failed,but the battery is still good. I like the new charging circuit because it tells you when the battery is recharged. red light turns to green. I assume the procedure for replacing the string will be as easy as my previous one.

I purchased the battery operated "weed wacker" believing that I might not be able to complete the job of trimming around my tied down airplane trailer at the airport. Their mower couldn't get close to my 25' long trailer. The Toro cordless trimmer did the job without sagging in power. The battery holds a charge over time and the charging system protects the battery from overcharging. For storage or transport in my car, it comes apart. I'm delighted.

Figured I'd try a smaller and easier trimmer to manipulate when near our gardens. My main trimmer is 16” and hits hard but not what's needed when trying to trim close to vegetation. This 8” trimmer is light and easy to handle while still remaining effective for what I use it for. Definitely the right tool for the job! Highly recommend this trimmer. Well built and easy to reload trimmer line.

I like that it doesn't need an electric cord or gas. I can take it anywhere in the yard. The only thing that I don't like is it doesn't hold a charge long. I can not get all of my trimming done at one time. I have to put it back on the charge and it takes quite awhile to charge up again. That is quite annoying.....

Don't have force, no working good. No but again. Is cheap but no is good
