Toshiba DR570 DVD Player/Recorder - Black - New

So far, the DVD Recorder has worked flawlessly. It took some work - to integrate it into our home entertainment components.

The website advertises the player as New with a 90 day warranty, but actually it is Reburbished with a 1 year warranty. And there was a delay with FedEx delivery, they kept changing the delivery times and date because they were heavy loaded with deliveries. FedEx finally delivered my package 2 days later for my signature. The seller was very polite and helpful, and in spite of the delivery issues, Walmart associates were very understanding and helpful. This player was very easy to unbox, hook up, and start playing. I don't see a volume button on the new remote, so you have to use your TVs remote volume button. The remote uses 2 AA batteries, not included, but the neat feature on the remote is that you can change the progressive pixels with the HDMI button from 480 to 720 or 1080, and of course I really like the Zoom button to enlarge the dvd picture to fit your TV screen. All in all I'm finally glad I got this new player, my old one was 15 years old. I recommend this product, and my sincere thanks to the seller and Walmart- but I'm withholding any thanksgiving for FedEx. FedEx needs to really improve there service and Tracking process. Perhaps the delivery carrier would be better through UPS. Thanks again to the seller and to Walmart.

I really like this DVD recorder, easy to use and very quiet. I had no problem setting it up and it fits nicely with my other electronics.

This product was very easy to install into my system, and has preformed very well so far. We have been very happy with the way it works and records.

This item was a used and refurbished item. It was advertised as new on the web page. I would not have bought it if I had known it wasn't new. The recorder does work OK and was in good condition.

the description of tuners says "built in atsc/ntsc/quam digital/analog tuner. THE TUNER DOES NOT ACCEPT QUAM TUNING AND THE UNIT WILL NOT DISPLAY THE MINOR CHANNELS.

Be aware. The Toshiba DR570 DVD Recorder has a serious design flaw. It is impossible to selectively delete sub-channels. Either delete all or none.
