This was a substitution for my ordered item of the same, just a lower cost item, and this name brand cost $2 more! They are very good! Crunchy, crisp - fresh tasting! Great with some cheese salsa dip! Would I buy again? Maybe - I try to save money food is so exprnsiv
Growing up in SoCal many years ago, I've been searching for an unsalted tortilla chip like what was served in the Mexican restaurants I remember. This came closest to what I wanted. Also healthier than regular chips sold. Very crisp and the salt is not overpowering. The price is also comparable with other chips.
These are great. I recently had a family member introduce these to me, and I can't stop eating them. They have the perfect amount of crunch and salt. They are great with all the dips. My family loves them so much that they bring them with them to Mexican restaurants.
I love the reduced sodium as it's less salty and doesn't dry out my lips unlike the regular versions (it seriously hurt). I like eating it with pinto bean dip and vegan cheese.
I updated my review because the chips were very good. However for me, still too much salt. however I want is just a hint of salt as I will be making other additional items.
This brand is delicious all the time. I buy the low salt because its better for me and my heart. . i dont like a lot of salt so this is perfect. Buy it !
I've tried many tortilla chips lately. Tostitos are the ones I always come back to. The chips have a good flavor, and are lightly salted which is just right for us. They aren't too sturdy for dipping into homemade refried beans, but that's okay with me.
Let's face it, all Tostitos products are tasty, crunchy, %26 of good quality. I find their regular products to be a little too salty. Being I'm a dialysis patient, I have to watch my sodium intake. So I thought I'd give these a try. I was not disappointed! They were just the right amount of salt. Calling these lightly salted is exactly correct. And it didn't take away from the taste.
I like to shake the bag upside down a few times and try to get all the salt distributed on all the chips because it's kind of hit and miss. But Doc says reduce my sodium.
Nice salty bite. However, they loose two stars first, because this is a fairly brittle chip. (If you're looking to pair it with fresh guacamole, I'd opt for something else.) And lastly, the elevated price for name brand. Honestly, I'd go with the Great Value dupes. Those are thicker too!
