I am thrilled to see them again, even if they had to get a new name and altered bag to make it back onto store shelves. These are the ORIGINAL Doritos from the 1970s! Way before they came up with those powdered flavorings that now cover ALL Doritos, there were the plain ole crispy tortilla chips that were loved by all. Eventually, the overload of flavor options crowded the shelves in the chip aisle and the OG Doritos (which I had come to refer to as "Naked" Doritos) got the axe. I've never found any flavored Dorito that I really cared for, so finding these was like Christmas in June/July!
These Tostitoes original yellow corn chips are excellent. if, you want a good tasting, inexpensive chip. These are the ones, especially, if you want a change from white corn chips. They go great with gv restaurant style salsa, also gv Cantina style. If, your after tex-mex I recommend gv restaurant style salsa for a great set- up
These are my favorite brand and style of Tortilla Chip, have been buying for years! The flavor is excellent, and the chip is sturdy enough to handle a good salsa dip, but not too thick to take over the flavor profile of whatever you add them to. Great chips! Love them with salsa, pico de gallo, nachos, and various dips. Definitely give them a go!
these are THE BEST tortilla chips! they have so mych flavor and rhe perfect amount of salt. they're addicting! lol its our go to and theyre so cheap here at Walmart! Hopefully they stay 2.97 a bag. elsewhere is so expensive for these!
I love the taste and the thickness they hold up well to any dip or nachos! These are back to the original corn chip almost as good as homemade
these are the best! great for dipping items and scooping up cheese and thick items. Yet they are thin enough to give great crunching satisfaction!
It holds the dip while dipping and biting the chip to eat it! This is one of my favorite snacks, Tostitis has upgraded it.
Very fresh tasting %26 strong enough to dip salsa with.
My favorite brand of chips, but they're too salty
I would love these chips, except they're WAY too salty! And when i say WAY too salty, i mean salt on every single bit of every chip. So much salt is on these thips, it's actually offensive. I have to stop and rub as much salt as i can off each chip before eating rhem, and even then, they're still too salty. I would LOVE these chips and buy them all the time if only Lay's would put about 50% less salt on them. And don't even think about having these chips with salty salsa. It's just ridiculous, the amount of salt Lay's is putting on these chips.
