Customer service isn't anything to brag about. The call center Total/Verizon uses is abroad and absolutely do not understand how to deal with any technical issues that arise, and refuse to transfer to someone that could help. Took 9 days to get the service activated on a phone purchased directly on the Total website. When I did get it activated, they made me purchase another service plan because they could not apply the service to the device which was purchased at the same time as the service plan. I instead had to purchase another plan and have the first one refunded. It took 18 calls to get the refund issued. Not exaggerating! 18 phone calls. All due to the activation process issuing a phone number that technically isn't even a phone number. It was 12 digits and had a service area code for Puru. This is how they wanted to look up my account as well as sending verification code for security, yet the sim card was never activated so it could not receive any texts. I was forced to buy a second sim card to activate it. It was only $1 so I wasn't too upset other than being forced to purchase the additional service to activate that sim card so that I could use the device I had purchased. Since Verizon purchased all Tracfone providers (Simpletalk, StraightTalk, etc) I thought I could get to speak to someone in the country, I was absolutely wrong!

Highly upset purchased new phone and card. needed verizion total wireless card and I purchased the verzion only card. I just wanted to exchange for correct card however walmart doesnt allow refund. After countless calls to number they provided no help no resolution. I basically lost 60 dollars plus tax. wisdom dont buy prepaid cards from Walmart theybwill not refund you or anything

During the first 60 hrs, had no call or text service and approximately 2 hrs of data service. Customer service is a nightnare. Unable to use and no refund issue.
