all i need is to call and receive, and do minor internet looking up stuff. if i need to play online, i have a laptop, a desktop and an drawing ipad to play on. dont want to stess over dropping and breaking screens. im good.
Love this phone and was able to use my current plan with Verizon. The first phone I purchased was “By Verizon “ and not really a Verizon phone. It's perfect for me as a senior citizen because the numbers are big and I don't need a Smartphone. I also bought a case and it's much better looking
other than it nit being activated bc the pickup order didnt ring it up right. the phone is exactly what i need for my tech obsessed 13 year old who cant stay off the internet. this will work great for her to be able to communicate with us without becoming a distraction and time suck on the web. however, i couldn't add it to my Verizon prepaid family plan bc technically it not a Verizon phone.
This was a replacement phone (the first one would not activate either). Both times, Verizon customer service told me that the phones were not properly scanned at Walmart. Maybe once, but both times? Save yourself the time, money and stress, by buying another phone.
I could not get the phone to activate. I called Verizon Total to assist me and was informed the phone had not been scanned and needed to be returned. I ordered online because I just had a knee replacement!! The phone was for my Aunt in the nursing home , who has been without a phone for over a week and with no visitors due to another outbreak of covid!!!
I didn't need the phone right away, and when I attempted to activate it, I was unable to activate. When I called support I was informed that this phone had not been scanned when the buyer filled my order. I was instructed to take the phone back to where I bought it from so they could scan it and I could finish activation. The local store was unable to help me and "contact the seller" link here isn't functioning. I have a loved one with dementia who needs a phone and I have no phone for him. This is an urgent situation and someone's inability to pay attention is putting my loved one in danger.
Not a rating for the phone. Received the phone, can't activate it unless scanned by a register at the store. Why would a phone be shipped that can't be used? Had it shipped to me as to not have to go to the store in the first place.
The sellar never scanned the device before shipping and i can't activate it. I bought this for my mom who's in a nursing home. she's very lonely and wants to talk to people and now she'll have to wait even longer. SMH
I got 2 of these phones for backups for my son who is disabled and goes through phones constantly. When his phone was lost or stolen tried to use them and was told by verizon representative that these were not verizon phones. On the inside of phone it says TracFone Wireless, Inc. when I tried to transfer his phone number using the customer service number that came with this phone they told me that number was not one of theirs.
I bought this phone to replace the same one that my father had bought for himself before. The reason I bought the replacement phone was because his current identical phone stopped hanging up on calls unless he would disconnect the battery. Thinking that the phone was just too old since it hadn't always done that I bought the same replacement for him. After getting the new phone and programming it with his phone number not only did his earpiece for his hearing aid, not connect to spite effort on both he and the customer service tech person over the phone. It was never able to connect to his hearing aid, and on top of that, within a week's time, it stopped hanging up on calls again , unless he disconnected the battery. Thoroughly disappointed. I guess you can't even get a basic flip phone that is reliable and can do the simplest of tasks anymore. :0(
