Toto SW3084#01 C5 Tank Type Washlet Elongated

Why these don't come standard on every toilet in America is beyond me. Once you've had one, you won't consider going without one!

Easy to install. Very good installation and operation instructions. Step by step set-up and operation manual very easy to understand. Installed on a new toilet with no issues. Did a lot of research and Toto was a good choice. Happy with fit and function! No special tools required!

This bidet is revelatory. It's changed our lives. We love it more than any other thing in our house buy it.

We LOVE this Toto bidet. Settings for seat and water temperatures. This is a plus during cold winter days. Price is a little steep but everyone in the family enjoys and fights for it.

Easy to install and useful

the best invention ever, common sense solution to an every day task

Straightforward to install. Very pleased with the features. Higher-priced than others, but worth the extra money.

It's not hard to install, just cumbersome to reach behind the toilet to make all the connections so we got a plumber to do it. We're on well water and after a couple of years the sediment builds up, and the only way to clear it is to remove the seat as well as the hoses. Consumer Reports suggests using a bidet water filter (I didn't know this existed). Unfortunately, Toto uses specialized connections on the hoses so they won't connect to a filter -- the workaround is to put the filter between the main faucet and the supply hose to the whole toilet, so you're filtering the water that goes to both the toilet and the bidet instead of just to the bidet -- you may need to change the filter more frequently because it's filtering a larger amount of water. Supposedly, though, Toto (the maker of this bidet model) discourages the use of a filter (it may cancel the warranty). Something to consider. Other brands of bidet seats may have normal hose connections so any bidet water filter could work, but you'd have to check with the manufacturer. As to the functioning, this bidet seat works well, is very helpful for the 2 elderly people with limited mobility that live with us. Some people may not realize, this bidet seat requires an electrical outlet nearby.

I'm giving two stars because one star reviews tend to be ignored. I received this item in a box that had clearly been resealed. The parts were packed in a disheveled manner upon opening. We're talking about a toilet seat here folks. There was moisture inside the plastic bag that held the toilet seat. In other words, I think this thing was used. Of course I returned it.

The item arrived used and carelessly packed, with everything tossed into the box unpackaged and covered in unidentifiable stains. It appears the seller does not inspect items before shipping, lacks a quality control process, and has no concern for delivering clean, acceptable products to customers.
