Very thin plastic and didn't fit right

Not correct size
I measured before I ordered, looked up online what size would fit and measured the old part. All said 1.25”. However, this part was so tight I don't see how it's supposed to fit. It also feels like it will bust easily. Thin flimsy plastic. I've already ordered a replacement part and plan to return this one.
