The noise level is actually not too bad. The control panel has a room-temperature display, which lets you see how effectively it helps lower the temperature in an air-conditioned room, and the temperature readings are very accurate. There is still some noise at night, so I would suggest placing it a bit further away if you plan to run it while sleeping. During the day, when it's oscillating, the airflow can feel a bit sharp if it blows directly on you. Overall, though, it is a very good fan.
Quiet and forceful and love remote!
