Just what I needed for the 5/16" chain
I bought these with the 10' 5/16" chain and they work perfectly. I was able to easily open and close the links (no jamming) and they connected the chain ends easily.

considering the price the item is constructionally sound, solid, with a bit of heft to it. recommend vehemently cause its NO lightweight carabineer
