First, it says screwdriver and wrench are needed but not included, but they DID in fact include a screwdriver and a wing-nut type thing for tightening nuts, so that is really nice and helpful! No tools were actually required. Second, they included a whole bag of spare nuts and washers, though none of them were needed. That kind of attention is awesome! It was really easy to put together and the instructions were very surprisingly detailed and easy to read (even though "Made in China" is plastered all over everything). I got it put together in under 10 minutes. The only tricky part was the last step - removing the seat to plug the battery in. The screw on the back of the seat is long, so needs quite a few turns before you can remove the seat. I'd expected it to be shorter, but like with everything else - it is built to last, so the screw is long to provide extra strength to keep the seat from coming loose. In all, I am extremely happy with this! Very positive experience through and through. I wish more kids toys came this way. Not a single downside that I can see. Highly recommended!
