I got these for my twin grandsons for their first birthday. After they opened it, my two year old and five year old granddaughters really enjoyed playing with it also
I purchased this item as part of a Christmas gift. The feedback I've received is that the Montessori Train Learning Set is intriguing for the little one. It's a very good teaching tool for dexterity, colors, numbers, and animals. On top of that, it is plenty fun moving the train around when the pieces are all put together. A great time spent between parents/guardians and toddlers, as the parents/guardians play, supervise, and teach the eager to learn little one!
Gift for my grandson he loves it. Colorful and pieces are large enough you don't have to worry about him putting in his mouth.
Trains hook and stay together great , very colorful 2 yr old autistic granddaughter she color coordinate an and lines all things up likes putting lids on .
You can count numbers, there's dots on the other side of the each lid. Each animal has a color. This is a great toy for toddlers.
Pretty good toy as far as teaching your kids, numbers,colors, and animals but the latches that connect each cargo to the train break very easily so watch for small pieces when that happens because within 30min of play he had broken 3 latches already.
It would be a good toy if it would be battery operated. Kids would love that and would absolutely learn quickly the number and shapes. Also, I found that it's to hard for an 28 month old to put those animals on top of each wagon.
it is hard for the child to put the cover on each train compartment. also the tires are very flimsy and cheaply made that it keeps squeaking and throwing off the whole train
The connections for the cars are not tall enough to hold together and the animal connections are not deep enough to hold the animals on the cares. Grandson did not enjoy at all!
Train cars do not stay connected, flimsy plastic, hard to put tops on the train cars.
