So we moved into a new apartment recently and needed an ethernet switch to connect both computers into a single CAT5 connection. Having worked in the industry for years, I knew we didn't need anything TOO fancy. This switch was a homerun! It did what it was supposed to. One input and four outputs. No fan or anything silly that isn't needed and would either break or at the very least, waste electricity. There really is nothing else to say about this. It's affordable and it works 100%. I would certainly purchase this again if I ever needed another one.

I have not owned this switch long. I would say 2 or 3 months, but it has performed well. It is plug and play. I connected the "Link/Act" port to my router and have had all 4 of the other ports connected and working perfectly. I had designated static IP addresses for several of my devices. I was afraid the switch might interfere with them, but that was not the case. After connecting the switch all the static IP addresses were still the same in my router. I liked this switch so well that I decided to upsize to a TP-link 8 port switch. I like to have room to expand. With the 4 port I had 2 PCs a printer and a Raspberry PI I had not foreseen connected. I was out of ports! I like to tinker with Arduino, so at times I need to connect an ethernet adapter. I wanted an extra port for that so I upsized with the same brand and type of switch with 4 more ports. I will use this one in my electronics shop, where 4 ports is more that enough. The 8 port will be for home use. I love the TP-Link switches! Time will tell how durable they are, but for now they are perfect!

I have used TP-Link products for years. I have always thought they were among the best and this switch seems to reinforce that belief. It is well made and just plug it in and it works.

The item was exactly what I was looking for at a decent price and to arrive the next day. The experience was great

simple easy to use works just as expected have this connected to a PC, switch, and PS5 no troubles at all

Plugged it into my Router and it worked right off. Speeds are as advertised, signal is constant, and I still have a great time gaming while being able to hardwire other devices onto my network.

Turns out this switch was and older model with 1G ports. I was convinced it had 2.5G ports but it doesn't. My bad I guess.

If you have 4 devices hooked up to this network switch, ONLY ONE PORT HAS INTERNET. If more than one of your devices requires internet, it isn't going to happen. You would have to keep switching a cable every time you want to use a specific device. If you don't care about internet to any of your devices, this item would work.

All connections and devices worked perfectly when attached directly to modem, so the only malfunctioning piece had to be this item.
