TP LINK HS105 SMART PLUG MINI CASE VERSION

We needed something small enough to fit in the box that goes over the outdoor outlets on our patio. We have it linked to our Google Home to now turn our patio string lights on / off by Google Home voice command.

This was super easy to install/set-up and works flawlessly w/ Alexa via my Amazon Tap. Only things I can think to improve on would be 1) add a dimming feature 2) Support for Scenes from TP-Link's Kasa app within Alexa. (Currently, Alexa only sees devices, and you can make Groups but not Scenes) 3) Support for IFTTT (but I believe that is up to IFTTT, not TP-Link) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This plug is so convenient! I have this these set for my night stand lamps in my kids room and my bedroom and I also have one connected to my Entertainment Center led light strips and I love that I can turn them off or on with the TP-LINK Kasa App and its integrated With my Google Assistant for controlling it with my voice to turn off or on the lights. Thanks to this smart plug I no longer have to dig my hand behind my power Conditioner to shut off my led accent lighting on my Entertainment Center.

This is a great item to pair with a Google Mini or Google Max. With this Smart Plug you can turn your light on or off or anything plugged into it by way of your Google speaker, turn it on or off with your phone, and also create a schedule for the future. You can even use it as a timer. It is very convenient to be able to turn on a light from outside when the living room is dark, or from your bed when you don't feel like searching for the switch. If you have a Google Mini or Google Max, you absolutely need to get one of these, or two or more for other rooms or items.

Easy to install and reliable (so far). Using it to switch off a garage door lift motor when out of town. Eliminates the possibility of an accidental or malicious door opening.

The website says 100- 220V but the product is labeled only 125 V. Bought this for a country that has 220v so it's worthless.
