TP-Link HS200 In-Wall Smart Switch, No Hub Required

Just what I ordered.

This was super easy to install/set-up and works flawlessly w/ Alexa via my Amazon Tap. Only things I can think to improve on would be 1) add a dimming feature 2) Support for Scenes from TP-Link's Kasa app within Alexa. (Currently, Alexa only sees devices, and you can make Groups but not Scenes) 3) Support for IFTTT (but I believe that is up to IFTTT, not TP-Link) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I just received the echo as a gift from a family member. We had a switch that was very hard to get to that I wanted to try this switch on. It was extremely easy to install. After 5 minutes setting it up on the Alexa app the switch worked perfectly. I really like the ease of instalation and quality of this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Easy installation with basic wiring knowledge. I wish this comes in dimmer capability

LOVE THIS THING

I found the HS-200 met all my expectations. This is a high quality product just like the other TP-Link products I have purchased. Although you must use the TP-Link smartphone app to setup the wifi connection, I was able to control the device using HomeAssistant without any problem. Great product!

Used two of these switches to automate front and back lights to a workshop. Easy to install and connect to the WiFi and the timer function are well thought out and easy to use. An exterior cover can be used to fill a single switch or removed to house together with another switch in the same box. Can't recommend these enough if you wish to automate any wall-type switch. Works fine with LED bulbs.

TP-Link is a quality manufacture. I have about 9 of their items. Solid products and the KASA (software, I assume) is well thought out and with a little patience, is probably easier to install then anyones. TP-Link products, you'll be glad you chose them as well.

This is especially good for my wife who has multiple sclerosis. Now she can voice command Alexa to turn off the light, and she also has a smart plug for the electric heater and the television. She can independently voice command everything. New technology is very helpful to those who can't operate a remote or get up to turn items
